Unfair treatment DLC

If you've ever played PS3 you usually get mad when you have to wait for new content. Just because Xbox gets paid for players to play doesn't mean they should get special treatment. When call of duty elite came out they said EVERYONE would get DLC at the same time and now they wont even tell us the release date is. We the PS3 gamers want the same treatment sence we paid 50 bucks for elite(for the ones that did ) now give us our DLC at the same time or exclusives for PS3 the Wii got a seperate cammo why cant we get that or a map just for us or a game type what about when Robert said we can get custom online matchis outside of privite match. So far all the thing weve been promisted are now gone or missing when you say someting infont of millions of people you shouldant go back on it (Robert). So if you think this problem needs to be adressed post your thoughts. Or what we can do about this problem this is not fair to the millions of people that play. SHARE THIS LINK

ALL Premium Elite members (WII,Xbox,PS3) get content earlier than non premium Elite members, that is what IW said about Elite but since Xbox has a deal with Activision Xbox members get them as soon as the maps are done beeing made.

ALL Premium Elite members get them Earlier!!!
This is just a perk to all the Premium subscribers.

      Because you can't prove a negative. If you think they said somewhere that all consoles would get the new content at the same time, then it's up to you to provide the tangible evidence.

    You are paying for Elite not the maps. The maps are free because we paid for Elite. A product of Beachhead does not override a contract between Activsion and Microsoft. Get your facts straight before you start whining.

  L3G10N says that premium Elite - for all platforms - gets all the maps sooner than non-premium Elite, but I'm not sure that's true.
  
  PS3 premium Elite users still don't have Overwatch and Black Box but non-premium XBox user could purchase them earlier this week.

    I own both consoles and I've played both versions of the game and I can honestly say they're about equal with maybe the general PS3 community being slightly worse than the Xbox as it seemed easier to get a good score on the PS3. Of course the Xbox has the disadvantage of having more d-bags with microphones though.

Why do people insist in this topic? I am now perplexed as to why it seems necessary to beat a dead horse. Are we the PS3 community so thick minded that we don't understand that XBOX has BOUGHT yes, they bought the rights to get the bl-oody content. What part of this is so HARD for this community to understand? Its BUSINESS, if you don't like that you get the games later and do not want to switch consoles than either SHUT UP and wait or buy yourself another friggin GAME! I Mean FACCCCKKKKK!

COD for PS3 and COD for Xbox are two different games. They don't even have to release the same DLC for both games. When DLC comes out for one game is irrelevant to when it comes out for another.

All these PSN people need to get together and cry to PSN. PSN turned it down. Not Acti.

MS PAID for the rights to early DLC. Hence the reason XBL costs $60 a yr, they get more benefits.

PSN did not.

Therefore cry to PSN.

Makes sense dont it?

  An exclusivity agreement means only one party can get it. If PS3 and XBOX bought the rights that would not be exclusive. That would be higher prices

    No offense but I think your post is the one that makes no sense.
    
    Sony initially passed on the chance to "sponsor" Call of Duty so Microsoft stepped up the plate and accepted the offer which entitles the Xbox 360 to one month of DLC exclusivity.
    
    Basically Sony had their chance to accept Activisions offer and they blew it.
    
    At the end of 2012 Sony has a chance to take over the contract but chances are either Microsoft will renew their current contract or Activision will do away with the exclusivity contact altogether.

How many more of these threads will be made. Get over it XBOX is the favorite, PS3 is the red headed step child. I don't like it either but im not going to cry over it because I know I will get them eventually.

  well... I know its bussness but ALSO xbox360 is like a test console MEANING: Xbox 360 gets content 1st to test it for a month and by the time it comes to PS3 it has hardly any bugs. Take the 1st DLC for black ops... there was always that 1 LITTLE spot acros the ice-bridge you had to jump tp get to other side... and if you didn't you just fell threw the bridge and lost Killstreak reward.
  
  So PS3'ers stop complaining... Yes by the time we have our share of DLC Xbox will have 2nd one but still... Its better to wait and play the game without bugs then to just GET it immedatly
  die because there could have been an invisable wall somewhere that you ran into or have a insta-death spot.

yes i under stand xbox gets it first i had it before. psn players can pay for premium membership. yes xbox pays but its like they dont even aproch psn first like i said befor we deserve someting else for being deprived of the same time relese or custom online games promised before

  It's been said that Sony was approached first with the offer to "sponsor" Call of Duty but they turned down the offer. It was then offered to Microsoft who accepted the deal.

  And I like how you feel entitled to something because two businesses made a contract that unfortunately means one group of users get DLC before another. Life isn't fair so just be patient and be glad that all DLC is not fully exclusive to one platofrm.

DONT WORRY WE WILL GET IT AND PLUS IT WOULD JUST BE BETTER TO HAVE NOT BOUGHT PREMEUIM BECAUSE YOU STILL GET THE MAPS BUT AT A LATER DATE.

PREMUIM: $69.99 I THINK
NON-PREMUIM: $42 IF THERE ARE 3 MAP PACKS AND $56 IF THERE ARE 4 MAP PACKS.

  I can almost guarantee you that Activision will increase the price of "map packs" to $20.
  
  a) There's obviously a pattern. CoD4/WaW were $10/map pack, MW2/BO increased to $15, MW3/BO2 will increase to $20.
  b) Activision already stated that non-premium users will pay $60 for all the content. $60 divided by three (estimated total number of "map packs") equals $20 a map pack.
  
  I guarantee each of the three map packs will be three multiplayer maps and a combination of SpecOps missions and/or gametypes.

    The DLC for xbox came out already and it's $15 or 1200 MP(Microsoft Points) so I'm guessing there will be 4 DLC's for a total of $60 and I think the last might just be random Spec ops like in black ops it was the Zombie maps.

Regardless of what people think they were promised or not, the deal is XBox get CoD DLC before other consoles, end of. Until you hear or see evidence that the contract has officially ended or been amended then that is what you go by. It doesn't matter if Obama goes on TV and says "hey kids all consoles get CoD DLC at the same time from now on" No they don't, until the contract has expired or been amended. What I am trying to say is do not listen to what anybody says, the contract is what matters.

Well the DLC for xbox is $15 1200 MP. So there will probably be 4 DLC's coming out which will be a total of $60.
