What I think it was , turned out to be a typo on he Marketplace by some assistant noob.

Like the banning policy that was posted and wasnt probably read until 5 hours AFTER it was posted.

It said ..

First time 2 day suspension / reset.

Second time 5 day suspension / rest / removal from leaderboards.

Third time 7 day suspension / rest / removal from leaderboards.

and even had more weird things in it

It was changed after my thread on that was locked . But the next morning it was fixed by assuming RB.

Sad thing that you got screwed over by a typo. I also wonder how March will go for you guys.

PS a Micosoft Customer Service Rep taked me out of the family plan 7 months ago and this was one of the things that he said could happen.

Another one was if a GT got banned on the main account then ALL were banned, if I remember correctly.

It does say all users on one console BUT it neither says split screen nor does it say other players can use it WITHOUT the main player being signed in.

also DLC usage can change. My wife used to be able to use games that I DLed from the marketplace. But once I did a license transfer she lost everything she could play for free. I believe this was changed during the last Xbox Update with the new dashboard.

 

also its quite possible that if the other gamers are not Elite Premium members then it is very likley they cant access them at all since they are "locked out" til March.

Hi Starbuck, if I were you I would re-do the Licence transfer and make certain you are setting it to the correct console.

Once you have done this you have to REDOWNLOAD everything. Anything your wife cannot play just needs to be redownloaded (which, in most cases, only takes a few seconds/minutes because it does not download the whole game, just the new licence).

No other account can use the Marketplace content until it has been redownloaded - just doing the licence transfer isn't enough.

I think you can easily redownload something like your last thirty downloads during the licence transfer and you can re-download your purchases from your purchase history.

Your wife should be able to access ALL your marketplace content. Except MW3 Elite maps as we have established here. Not sure about online passes like BF3, Bad Company 2 and NFS.

This ist very bad! Activision. please change it a.s.a.p. !  I think this is ok for the time who is the DLC exclusiv for the elite member. But later is the DLC ready for sale to every one, you must change this, the DLC must work for all user / profiles on the same console like before. I am very unhappy with Elite now

Find this an absolute rip off - most people would be better off just download the DLC normally - and forget ELITE - last year you could download the DLC on Black ops and share them to other Gamertags on same xbox. - But knowing ACTIVISON/COD you can share them either!!!!

I foulishly purchased a family pack as my kids love xbox to and was fed up with all there friends messaging me when they came online - now to find out i've got to buy everything 3 times...
