Riot Shield tips - Don't use a riot shield unless you are a troll.

Maybe I can shed some light on some riot shield tips, because I'm halfway through the bulletproof challenge, so I definately riot alot.

Well, I usually only riot in search and destroy because there's less flies to worry about, and yes use the melee proficiency, this class is mainly for going on the offensive riot, so bring a party of riot shielders, ok so you have 2 RPG rockets each round, and soh helps you siwtch fast enough to kill the guy while he's reloading his clip. 

As you have noticed if you are riot shielding people tend to throw anything in their inventory at you, so use blast shield pro, (it actually helps if your using a riot shield)  dead silence is for well anything, cause you don't really need sitrep seeing as you can absorb explosive damage with the shield, same goes with stalker.

The best way of getting a killstreak together with a riot shield.

Get a party of teammates together so you have backup with you. Then run hardline pro and any strike package you want ( i recommend specialist). For every 2 assists you get a kill. SO run around with your riot shield blocking all bullet damage and let your teammates pick them off with their guns. simples

Riot Shield w/ Melee - nuffin better than a quick 2 hit kill.

if you feel that you are out gunned, whip out the dual MP412s

if you are pinned down, wait for that moment of peace the enemy will give when they reload or try and throw something at you...hit them with the tknife.

trophy system is pretty cool, it acts like a turret cuz it destroys 2 items that are being thrown by the enemy, whether its a C4 or a semtex it will blow up upon being let go and if the enemy is close enough your trophy system it will actually damage the enemy or in rare times, kill them.

xcon - you gotta be able to catch up to them.

blast shield - even though you still die with a sticky on your shield its worth it cuz of all the other stuff you can withstand before finally giving in////trophy system helps out a lot here too.

stalker - trip up a claymore and run right past it to smash a dudes face in.

ive nearly completed my Riot Shield montage, it'll be up in a week or so...it'll knock your socks off (pun intended)

i used the first class set-up of the riot shield, except i used blast shield pro.after getting my first kill, i took this guys pp90.i was using the support package with uav and counter uav.i ended up getting a moab in that game XD.after getting the last kill for the moab a sniper killed me.almost had a flawless game.

Also, a trick that helped me, alternate between sprinting and crouching. Five sevens have the fastest switch time
