instead of sounding like a paranoid nut case i'll just link to eff's acta page
So it can be passed with out many people knowing about it so there is less too fight about it. That is why it is being talked about in secret.
maybe i should have stated the question was to just grab more attention
Just another bill disguised to take away more freedoms than fight legitimate problems.

Even if this somehow gets removed, there will be more for the government to try to strip away rights. People really need to stop being such oblivious sheep.
I think I am going to move to Canadia.
Rights what rights, America gave up its rights years ago long before any of this ever started. There is no such thing as freedom in the world it is a lie we tell each other to dsiguise the truth about what governments really are.
i don't see why sites aren't up in arms against this like they were sopa D:

Thanks... cheers.
Oh, it gets better. The treaty was signed under some executive agreement or something to that effect. That's right folks, it completely bypasses the senate and house going straight to law because our dear old president decided to sign it. What's sad is that voting for the other guy would not have really had a different effect imo.
Acta essentially gives governments the power. to take intellectual properties out of the public domain and slap a copyright back on and say "Now you can't reproduce this anymore even though you have been for years"
Politicians are all the same changing the guy you vote for isn't going to change a damn thing anymore.
Edit: Does anyone know if this would effect user-created Mods?
