They're interchangable and pretty equally powerful

im loving the mp7 , i have silencer and extended mags on it along with steady aim as my 3rd perk and its amazing for the way i play. Last game i was on resistance, went 29-1 and got 2 attack helicopters, 2 reapers, and 2 ac-130's. Im sure thats nothing special compared to some of the players here, but i was extremly pleased with myself.

MP7 has no recoil, its a subsititue for an assualt rifle (not as good but will do fine) at longer ranges, if you are playing a map like dome though go with the PP90, there aren't many "Long" ranges to shoot through for kills but if you're playing something like Seatown go with the MP7.

I've used the MP7 PP90 and the UMP. I recently came back to the UMP. Its insane with kick and extended mags. But overall I think it depends on the map.

My PP is > your PP.  Rapid fire and silencer FTW.  It was gotten me 2 MOAB's within the last week.

Depends. If you can be accurate with the PP90, it deals more damage and has a higher rate of fire. If you seem to miss a lot of bullets, use the MP7, that gun barely has any recoil and you're not going to miss any shots. I like both, but I prefer the MP7.

if all you do is kill people up close, then the pp90. i personally think the mp7 is a better all around weapon. the pp90 is much harder to stay on target in medium to longer ranges. the mp7 is a lazer beam. the difference in rof is minimal. something like 900rpm to 1000rpm. the recoil is far less on the mp7. the p90 is also a good choice.

I see mostly those two SMGs.  Is there anyone else using the others?  I use the UMP and the p90.  I must be missing something then if everyone else is using the mp7 and the pp901.

when im not hosting i have got 3 MOABs with the mp7.... 1 MOAB with the ump45 and none with the pp90m1..  the pp is a good gun but i find it slower for some reason.. maybe its just me.. doesnt help when i host alot though..

My advice is use what your comfortable with not what everyone says is the best or what someone earned an ac130 with lol that's why most use the acr and mp7 because they think the gun will make them good but if dosnt then they come to cry that there op

Personally if I went in try hard mode I would use the ppm901 silencer extended mags. This combo makes people rage because you kill them instantly lol

PP90 is the better option cqb especially with RF. Both have low max damage ranges. The Mp7 is better though imo as it's easier to pick people off mid range (& it needs a bullet less to kill there) and it's great as it's cqb and decent on AR range.
