EMP provides a timeout if you're being pounded by the opposing team. If you run Assassin Pro, then the ONLY thing it inhibits is your air support. You still have your sights and your map/readout.
People are really that upset over losing their air support for ONE MINUTE? As far as how long it lasts versus match time; I've seen matches last only a few minutes to begin with and I've been in wars of attrition that I felt would never end.
By the time most reach 17-18 kills, they've been pounded to death by predator missiles, cobras and only God knows what else.... So the fact people are crying so much about an EMP that lasts for one minute is absolutely ridiculous. It's not like it completely wipes out your reward (Unless it's in the air of course). After the one minute mark, you're free to resume the barrage.
And for the record, I personally play all three classes. I pick the one that best suits the gameplay.
@RYKINxx - Opposing opinions are part of every conversation, but there's no need to be a d*ckhead about it. Sh*t talking keyboard heros are bottom feeders that try to suck the rest of us into their misery. Please take it to another post or even forum for that matter. I started this thread to voice a concern about a problem, not to receive unproductive vomit from lonely trolls seeking attention.
EDIT:: Actually RYKINNxx - I checked out your history and see that's ALL you do. You jump in a thread to vomit your worthless, unproductive, infantile point of view. You seemed to be obsessed with "****" as you use that word in more posts than you don't.... Maybe you're in denial? I'm sorry if you're haunted by compulsions you have issues controlling. There's help for that. Maybe you should be on those forums seeking advice?
