Proficiency glitch? You mean the extended mags glitch they patched over a week ago?
People camp in the corner with anything... I think Assassin gives you more of a reason to camp in a corner IMO.
And please, so I don't kill myself, REREAD THE BOTTOM OF MY OP.
I'm saying a overall damage DECREASE before SP.

What I'm saying is that in MW2/WAW, the guns had a lower damage than they do today.
Stopping power made it more comparable to our guns.Putting SP on top of 3-shot kill weapons would be moronic. With Stopping power, it would be the same. Without, the gun would be weaker.
It's not for my advantage. I use a stealth and offensive build depending on the game. It would give Assassin a run for its money though.

Exactly, they're are only a few hundred regulars on this forum. They think they stand for the community. It's just because people don't really care for the forums. If you look on twitter and youtube the opinions completely change. EG everyone hates QS (I don't hate or love it, don't even care about it tbh) but on youtube and twitter people don't care about it. More people like it then not.
ON topic: I like how slowly the black ops guns killed. You could turn on a camper. You could rely on your gun skill. In this game you can prefire or spray through walls and get a kill so fast.

No he means the glitch that allows you to put the damage proficiency usually only available to shotguns on ANY weapon.
And people are going to sit in a corner regardless of what perk they are using. Assassin may aid them in that matter. However, I think it promotes more movement among most players than reducing it. I use assassin just like I used ghost, as a stealth perk. I use it the way I feel it was intended to be used, to stay undetected when I move in for the kill.
Stopping Power isn't the answer, if anything I think maybe getting rid of the UAV kill/point streak is a more viable option.

I'm actually a big believer when it comes to making UAV's higher up on the KS chain.
I've made a couple of threads detailing that it's pretty cheap how you can send up a UAV every 4 points.
However, a stinger makes quick work of any UAV. I realize how annoying it is to shoot them down every 5 minutes can be though.
Your right though, the UAV spam would make Assassin a much more desired perk.
However, this would add more usefulness to stance or what ever it is that makes you have less flinch.
Moving UAV's to 10 or 12 would be great.

Well yes, but that would negate the reason to have assassin in the first place.
And true, Assassin is a double-edged sword. It all comes down to how skilled you are... whether you'd rather camp for the kill, or be proactive.

It is true that Assassin is overused simply because your at a extreme disadvantage without it
I get you though, though I've always liked the idea of Juggernaught as a perk because it cancels out the effects of stopping power somewhat, making the time to kill you the same as if he didn't have stopping power - leveling the playing field somewhat. (also preventing OSK with snipers in most situations)
And it depends. Most of the time its not a matter of power as it is capability. i.e. FMG-9's are balanced... they just have a huge capacity that should be shrunk down to that of the G18.

Agreed. It makes some things almost completely unnessisary. Like the Stance Profficency.
What good does that do you if you'll die in 0.2 of a second anyway?

To all the morons:
Make the default damage of the guns like BO. Add Stopping Power to make them as strong as they are now. That way, you either get full immunity or more damage. Also, add Juggernaut to balance Stopping Power.
