For one there is not such thing as a balanced shooter and never has. There has always been one wepaon or more in each shooter that could out perform the other weapons. There is no such thing as a perfectly balanced game online ever and never will be.

Do I use them alot, heh not even. Its boring using those guns. I prefer the pistols or the smaw actually.  I have had each at level 10 before and used each of the attachments on them. And no they are not the best weapons in teh game and never will be. They are just exceedingly easy for any player to use if all you want is to spray and pray to get kills. They are the perfect counter to the rushing noobs that constantly sprint around the match thinking their smg or shotty should make them a god at killing. Only to face a weapon that will make them a zero instead of the foolhardy hero they think themself to be.

The only thing amiss with them is the added benefits that akimbo gives them. Other then that the weapons themself suck by their own. And yes I have died to fmg users, and then I adapt and kill them at range where the fmg becomes useless. Something it seems no one here wants to have to do. Instead they want to cry about and make the developers change the game so they do not need to learn or adapt their playstyle at all.

The only people that get owned by these are the run-n-gun rushers that constantly run around like a fool and then get sprayed down by a weapon taht should terminate their spawn very quickly with how it works. Play a long range game and they are nothing at all. Play a flanking game where you come at them from the sides and they are nothing at all.

Game play balance is not just about gun balance and never was in this game or any other game like it. And that is the problem for people who things stats tell it all. They see a high stat weapon and think it must be the best gun and thus better then everything else in the game. When in the right hands it can be formidable, but when in the wrong hands it is nothing but trash.

Balance is about trying to match the guns and players and how they perform and is not as simple as just comparing numbers from a spredsheet and never will be.

There has never been a balanced shooter ever. There is always a baseline weapon that others are balanced against and that weapon usually does better in many areas then the other weapons do.

The so called balanced shooter is one where no weapon has any true advantage over another weapon and thus nulifies the need to have more then one weapon in the game at all.

And I will state it again, this is not about the fmg but how the fact a second slot weapon is beating some pleayrs favorite first slot weapon and them feeling that it is unfair and should not be allowed to happen. That their first slot weapon should always beat all second slot weapons and that in and of itself would not be balanced either.
