They should be console banned. From the beginning. If another glitch comes about the same morons will do it. Or make up another profile to do it.

Personally, i think they should spend a bit of time on mod detection and glitching. after they establish a decent live time monitoring system they should stop the 24 and 48 hour suspensions and start with 1 week suspension, followed by 2 week suspensions. After that Id go with a perm ban. If more than 1 account is tracked to a console with cheaters then ban the console.
I got a buddy living with me who has his own xbox but its dated and he prefers to play on mine since we have different schedules. He runs modded controls. I suck so i prolly should cheat but i refuse to, lol I wouldnt give a **** if he got banned but id be pissed if my buddy got my system banned.

I say in the next CoD, activision leaks an easy to obtain and use hack, trace it, and then ban everyone who uses it in public lobbies. Problem solved. I could stand hackers for a week if it means most of them are gone shortly after.

i think that their punishment policy is pretty fair other than the 10,000 deaths and 1,000 losses. idk, it just seems a bit rude.

If any player(s) at any time participates in any form of Boosting, Spawn Killing, Glitching, Hacking or any other method of operation that renders the opposing player(s) at a disadvantage and/or results in a statistical conclusion that is less than fair and impartial..................
SHOULD BE PERMENANTLY BANNED FROM XBOX LIVE, PLAYSTATION NETWORK AND Wii.Its a game that is supposed to be challenging and most of all,..fun.

Three thoughts on this....
This type of policy has been on Microsoft since the day the first Xbox went online. Is is NOTHING new. Cheaters and modders , etc were STILL getting banned. In Microsofts case people were getting EVERYTHING banned and having to rebuy everything all over again.
Activisions policy has ALSO been there for years.
People being held responsible for their action on the XBL service is nothing new.
Whats happening now is just another one of those "people found and exploit the new glitch and a banned hammer goes down at the same time"
Any cheater complaining about getting banned or reset is ignoring the whole picture nad fooling himself. This is NOT new.
Only difference is now Activision has passed the detection of the ceaters down to IW or TreyArch etc. And Activision has given them money to make anti cheat software.
Many games now have it.
-----------------------------
So cheaters. Would you like to have IW be the cop to bust you and put a dent in the game for you ?
Or do you want Microsoft to come back in and smash everything completely ?
-----------------------
You made your Gamertag and agreed not to cheat, boost , hack, whatever. Its not like you didnt get a warning. You just chose to ignore it and clicked the I AGREE button.
You can cheat in the real world all you want, Robert Bowling even said you can do it in OFFLINE mode all you want. But dont do it in ONLINE mode. Because in the world of Microsofts Xbox Live Service, you allowed Big Brother to record every single thing you do.
You AGREED that whatever punishment that Game Companies come up with is fair when you made your Gamertag. If you DIDNT then you would not be on Xbox Live.
If you dont think its fair then
A ) dont cheat
b ) dont play
So if you want a game you can cheat in, I am sure they still sell Monopoly in some antique stores that have paper money in them otherwise you are stuck now with the computer version that watches you.

IW are doing a good job at the moment but the problem is it wont last long. They wont keep spending money on looking for and punnishing glitchers because at the end of the day they are still a buisness and whats the point of dipping into your profits when you are no longer making money from the game
Thats funny because about two days ago you were blaming the glitch on the developers

Robert Bowling just said it was 0.1 percent of the population. Thats 1 out of 1000.
Even if it was an estimate and should be higher they wont miss 1 out of 100 because people will be stuck "playing the stupid games" for the next year.

I think that anyone who cheats should be permanently banned.
Get rid of this 3 strikes crap, ban them immediately.
The cheating scum have ruined 3 CoD games now. Don't give them the chance to ruin this one. Some people will exploit anything they can.
