Old maps...

Does anyone else besides me think that we should get all of the old maps from CoD4 and MW2? That would be great...

    those four are the first dlc maps they say

    hell no, if you want the old maps go back and play the old games. now if they made new maps in the style of the old maps that would be fine.

      I would imagine that you drive a car that was made in the last 10 years, and I'll bet that you don't complain that it was manufactured based on technology that was developed in the 19th century, and yet you have a problem with maps that were made 3 years ago. So why not the old maps? Why not have 60+ maps to play on? What's wrong with that?

        it's quite simple if i brought a new car i wouldn't want old parts in it.  when i buy a new game i don't want maps i've already played i want new ones.

          That's the thing... not all of the parts on a new car are brand new... some of them were manufactured a few years ago and just haven't been used. Much like video games... some concepts were developed a couple years ago, but haven't been used. So basically, you're saying that you'd buy new games and new cars that were based on old technology and old concepts, yet you're not willing to play on some old maps, with new perks and weapons. Interesting. To each his own I suppose.

    Bring em all back!  The maps of MW3 suck donkey balls!  They have no personality and all of em have nothing but hallways.  None of the maps look or feel like Estate, Favela, Derail, Fuel, Carnival, etc....If they brought back all the maps of MW2 with the gameplay of MW3, it would be the PERFECT FPS IMO!

    sorry but if they bring back the old maps all i can say is to hell with the game cause this is not mw1 or mw2 this is mw3 all new game but hell we all know that they made millions of dollors off are butts we are SUCKS for buying this game if they do bring any of the old maps back sorry but you all know im right on this so you all can trash me all you want but you guys know im right

    i agree as we have allready paid for them but i allso agree with others when thay say this is a all new game so we should be getting all new maps

    I totally agree we should get old maps, even if it was only maybe half of the maps from each. I dun like the new maps that much.....

    from what ive heard there will be no packs just individual maps every month

      I would much rather them bring back maps from CoD4 then to let sledgehammer make more maps with horrible layouts. Otherwise I am sure we can look forward to more maps like outpost and carbon.

    if we do end up getting any old maps im going to be really pissed off new game new maps thats what i want.

    The CoD4 maps were the best ones. I miss Vacant, Crossfire, Shipment, Backlot, and Crash.

    How about an online only cod with all the maps, guns, perks, and dlc that has been released since cod4. why the hell not? instead of us dishing out 60$ for a game every year and 40$ every year for its dlc why not just make the perfect call of duty game and keep a slow trickle of gun packs and new maps coming until significant changes are fundamentally developed into the COD games engine. because we are buying the same game every year why not just charge an annual fee and keep the dlc going until years down the road when major significant changes occur to graphics and network gaming.

    They should just remove all the current maps and give us all of the maps from MW1, MW2 and the lag balancing system from MW2.

     

    Actually, they should just patch MW2 to remove hackers, OMA, and commando, fix scavenger so that it doesn't refill launchers, remove tweenscoping and nerf noob tubes to Black Ops levels. I am pretty sure every single person would stop playing MW3 and go back to MW2.
