There are some good points in your post there, but, the fact is this particular product was released, not only wiht bugs in it, but actually nowhere near complete.

To use one of your analogies, the Android phone. Yes they are constantly update, but the basic advertised function of a phone, is to do just that. Call people, and txt. Many extras are also included these days, however a working communication device is what you would expect first and foremost from a phone. If thats not what you recieved upon purchase you'd return it.

I expect clan operations upon purchase. I was prepared to wait a few weeks for it after the inital server overload at launch as i can understand compeltely how that can bring a system down. 2 months later now, though and still no clan ops or challenges.

The bottom line for me is if they knew the advertised premium benefits were not complete then they should not have sold the premium version to anyone. Release the free version and work on the premium until it was complete. Nobody would feel ripped off at all had they gone down that route.

I just contacted Watchdog and am waiting for a reply.

You cant  advertise a service and then take people money only for that service to not work or not be ready.

I really hope that something is done because I kinda wish I didnt get elite now.

I urge anyone to contact Watchdog not matter where your from(they may only deal with uk users but anyone complaining will grab there attention)

In the U.S. you can go to the Better Business Bureau.  The BBB doesn't have any legal sway over companies, but it is considered a very reputable organization and companies know that BBB complaints affect their reputation.  My experience has been that companies like Microsoft will stone-wall you and give you the run-around over the phone, but if you file a BBB complaint, they call you within a day or two to try and work something out with you.

I would recomend filing the complain against Activision since they are the publisher.  They may try to say that you need to complain to BeachHead or Infinity Ward, but it's ultimately Activision's responsibility.  I will be asking for a refund for the Nov, Dec, and Jan portion of the premium elite service.

Also, if you try to search for Beachhead or Beach head, the BBB has no records of a company.

Rosenbag(more like douchebag), I paid for my hardened edition before release and I had no clue that it was going to have problems like this.
