    I thought I've read it all when it came to the Nerf this nerf that war. but this is obviously overboard. you cant be serious? The whole connection issue is BS. panic kinfer? really? if some is close enough to knife you, you are close enough to knife them. just learn how to use your weapons better. I am shocked and appalled this thread has life.

    I don't remember if I voted or not.  But if I did, change my vote to:

     

    #5 Perk for a Knife Vest or Something.

     

    But don't make it a primary.  Make it the Pro version of the Flak Jak or something.  Also, make a down side to this, knife damage is only 50% when this is equipped.

    9. Keep the knife a 2-hit kill with one animation. Change the animation so that the player always stabs and then pulls out the knife. Each part of the animation does damage. Together, the stab and pulling out would kill a player at full health, but there would be a delay between stabbing and pulling out, preferably so that a gun at close range has more dps.

     

    You should also remove the ability to knife when in second chance.

    Gun butt melee seems most reasonable. If you reduce the damage the knife does, people are just going to complain about that also. Plus gun butt melee needs some type of skill. You dont have to worry about lunge.

    You should make it where you can only use your knife when you have out your secondary weapon, since most people run around with there primary weapon out it would cut out panic knifing and since you would have to switch weapons to knife it would be just like adding in an extra animation of pulling out the knife but without having to write the code for an extra animation. And for the people who do want to knife only since they can only do it with the secondary out they would be at a disadvantage most of the time.

    Remove knifing or any kind of melee attack!why does every game has to have that? it is a first person shooter not knifer

     

    it is only good if you want to piss people off and for them to do that to you

    1. Change controller layout to tactical permanently

     

    2. Make it a 2 hit slash attack (pressing knife once) and a one hit stab (pressing knife twice): slash attacks being instant, stabs taking a full animation time

     

    3. Allow players to block knifing

     

    4. Have the player put the knife away after use rather than it being automatic

     

    5. Remove aim assist after the player hits knife (so they have to alter their aim as they move)

     

    6. Completely remove knife lunge

     

    7. Make knifing take longer

     

    8. Disable knife in sprint (player has to stop sprinting before they can knife; rather than hitting knife canceling sprint)

     

    9. Require the enemy to be within the players crosshiers

    Possible one of the best ideas I've heard; I don't think people realize the reality of a two hit kill or using a gun butt, it's equally as frustrating as its all button bashing and is time consuming.
