using team mates as a distraction or a radar probe is ok until you start losing and find out your not even a team player in any form other then your score board. when your team drags you down, what can you do? play a game that doesnt have a team.

I used to play Domination, but I stopped because I was the only one capping flags. Then I went over to Team Deathmatch because all people know how to do is shoot things that move. I stopped playing that because while I can maintain a 2+ KD, I get dragged down by people who go 1-11, 2-25, etc.

Now I never play unless I have at least one person in my party.

   I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and throw out another possibility.

   You sound like you just may be one of those people that are constantly b*tching, moaning, bragging and blaming to your teammates. If thats the case .. its not going to make them play better. They will either get rattlesd and not be able to concemtrate well, or they may get annoyed and just stop putting in any effort.

  Try communicating with teammates on what to do and when to do it without sounding degrading. Dont even try giving orders .. just say what you are doing and suggest that someone doing another particular thing would be helpful.

   Communication is key to any team............ but only if its friendly.

Funny... I have a terrible K/D and win most games...

I do not use killstreaks to "pad" my K/D (use specialist strike package mostly).

If you use killstreaks for your K/D... that "might" be why you have a good K/D and still lose (esp at objective games).

I fell your pain OP, and have teh same problem. Im an EXTREME rusher...yea I dont sit still to reload, I get mad at myself for not being more patient(Ive started using the Type95 to learn patience...lol, I rush with it) , if I could slow down my KDR would go way up from 1.6, I have a second account (what I call an Objective gameplay account, 3xOG Extreme rusher account xXR_a_M_b_O3Xx, I mean blindy) where I play for fun, no worries of my KDR/W-L. This account like I said is 1.6/1.4 W-L, the Objective is 1.5/.8 W-L so Iono.

Anyway, add me, I play alot...we will tear some **** up.

Here is another way to look at this:  I have an 11 year old son who talked me into playing Live.  I had never played live before but have played all of the CoD games.  My introduction:  welcome to a game that you know nothing about, have the shittiest weapons, know no maps, have no Clans, have no friends, have no clue and am 45 years old.  My 11 year old is no help because he has NO tolerance for his "noob" Dad.

1st, most people playing online seem to be young males who only know swear words and words concerning gender confusion.  No help there.  When I ask questions I either get no reply or insults, no help there.

I start playing and figure I will follow some people around and see how they play the game.  Those players are swearing at me saying I am not "helping" the team.  So I try and "help" the team by following and covering doorways, roofs, etc. while they are "sniping".  Every now and then I actually get a kill and that "vet" swears at me and says I am "camping"  I don't even know what camping is!!  Why is it that when I hide and shoot someone it is "camping" but when the guy I shoot does the same thing it is "sniping"?

So, I start running around on my own, exploring, and trying different things.  I get a few kills and get killed A LOT!!  But, I do enjoy the game........until I put the headphones on and listen to all the garbage being said.  Forget about bombs, helecopters, care packages, tags, badges, etc.

There should be a beginner lobby.  It would be nice to play against people who are all on the same level and don't have weapons advantages, etc.

Today I had a dom game with me (most caps) on my team having a 1.75 k/d at the end the second best player on my team had a 0.25 k/d, no joke either, nearly everybody went minus 20 at least. Matchbalancing is hilarious. I'm curious what it's based upon. No, the other team wasn't a full party the players did generally mix here and there too in other games.

Finally someone has this topic, Thank God, we are not alone!

For countless games, me and my only partner always lose eventhrough we sum up with 60+ kills every single game...  9/10 times we end up the top 2 kills in our team. However, our team-mates are always relatively having "bad luck" game or with other "objective" in our game, like practicing new weapon :_)

The fact is we always lose no matter how hard we tried... in Team Death Match, HeadQuarter, Domination, Kill Confirm...

Now we switch to Drop Zone since we believe we might able to win more since the objective is much clear... well.. it still 50/50...

I admit that there are different level of players. We can't expect everyone plays as good as experts. May be they are already tired their best to help you out...

If you need a good team-mate, add me and I'm sure giving you another 25-30 kills per game, fighting until the last second. But the reality is we may still lose :-)
