I play a lot of DZ partied up with a bunch of like-minded players. Our objective is to win the match. We have both killers and warm bodies in the mix, but we all play to win, and we win...a lot.
Since we all sport different clan tags it's not immediately apparent that we're together,so when an obvious clan/party comes into the lobby, we just sit there waiting for the match to start. Oftentimes the other clan starts talking some smack and we hold our tongues. If they beat us, we graciously(perhaps a bit grudgingly-lol) congratulate them and get ready to go again. However, most times,we hammer them and that's when the fun begins.
I can remember only a couple of times, when the other team actually showed some class, and congratulated us.I've PM'd these players and told them what an honour it was meeting them....because it was...a very,very rare honour.
What usually happens following their defeat:
Name calling relating to sex, race, geographical location, sexual orientation, etc..you know em, you've heard them all...too many times.
Comparisons of individuals game K/D's...X went 4-12, but not mentioned is that she had the highest score on the board...the ONLY points that matter!
Getting called campers...for sitting in the DZ and defending it.
Getting accused of getting to the next zone ahead of time..well, wouldn't that mean the active one was wide open...you remember..the one we were camping-lol
Use of equipment...the other night someone was whining that we would stoop so low as to actually have a few Trophy's in the zone...sorry about making your Pred go pffft! or your grenade blow-up in your face.
Telling us how they are so good at TDM, DOM or whatever and how they would pwn us...BUT, that's NOT what we're playing.
Like another poster mentioned, too many self-entitled, over-coddled, ego-inflated, petulant little babies out there, who lack the ability to accept the fact that sometimes they will lose SOLELY because they were out-classed.
There is ONLY one person in the world that is the BEST at doing some particular thing. The rest of us line up somewhere below him or her and the only thing we can do is accept that fact and try to be the best that WE can be-not look for bogus reasons to salve an over-exagerated image of self-worth. Good luck in the workplace and adult life in general.
