Masterkey only performs 25 damage (35 w/ SP; also x6 Buckshot = 150 damage / 210 damage), but because of its extreme range, it maintains that and damage drops gradually at long range (at maximum range, which is about 37 metres, the damage is 1).

You won't find a lot of Masterkeys in Core, because everyone has a health of 100 - you'll need to lay in all of the buckshots to make it a one-shot kill.  Otherwise, most of the time, it's going to be a 2 or 3 shot in close/mid range.

It's extremely deadly in Hardcore (because of its range) but it's barely used in Core.  I do like it in Core - plus it has it uses - but you'll probably get killed first with a standalone before you kill them.

If the weapon is good, people use it all the time. As we've learned by the excessive use of the UMP/RPD/Intervention/G18/AUG. I have seen lots of MasterKeys lately as well, but not as much as I'd like to.

The Intervention is in no way better than the Barrett. It even sways more. How is that "good" at all?
