just want you guys all to know what modding your gamertag is nowhere near as difficult as jtag modding. go look up a video of how to mod your gamertag with a simple usb/flash drive it litterally takes 3 minutes. now your reporting people for modded gamertags because you think they have the ability to jtag? you are sadly mistaken and have no concept of how modding works.

If I see someone with a modded gamertag I report them and leave the lobby. Why you may ask, well I assume it is against the T&C's, to mod your gamertag and I work on the assumption that if the have modded their gamer tag what else have they done? Very untrusting of me I know but that's my prerogative.

I personally do not mind them, but if they get racist/offensive, I will take action and report them for System Tampering.

it is actually not against the rules or i would have definatly been banned by now. i could see if its an offensive name racial or swearing then it should be banable but if its just your gamertag with color then its fine

I report them every time under System Tampering. Basically, they've tampered with part of the Xbox Live service by modding their gamertag. This is against the terms of use and code of conduct.

Also, it's helping the people that actually police the Live service find out that these people are out there.

I saw a guy that had his real gamertag in white and black it was pretty cool so I left him alone. The people that put RS RS RS RS RS RS spam is annoying... and they get reported. I don't really mind if it's just color modded.

Modded GT = System tampering = File complaint = suspension for the little gimp who thinks it's cool to put 'Press X for sex'.

Modded gamertags are a minor nuisance, compared to the 'Tenth Prestige' lobbys. It's somewhere around the top 100,000 scores are hacked, yet IW and MS don't clear them off the leaderboards.

Report all of them. If they are willing to hack their tags, who can say if they've not hacked something else? Funny or not, they are breaking the rules that are set for our protection.

The worst are the d1ckheads that have to make it 50000 chars long and put controller symbols in it. I just leave those games as the killfeed is a huge distraction.
