Snipers and LMG users are the only ones who are supposed to 'camp'.  Not sitting in a corner but overlooking an area.

Hell ya it's legit!!  And I agree with the above post that the word "camping" is thrown around way too much these days.  I always get accused of it because me and my buddy will pick an area and claymore the SH**T out of it and then kill everyone that runs to us...kinda funny because they get mad at us yet they still run to us over and over...kinda like the battle of thermopoylae!  When we aren't camping, we're holding down an area.  huge difference. So yes...that is legit..camp your little heart out haha

ACOG Intervention is legit.  The .30 BAC effect it has can be really disorienting.

too true. I just finished a game where I got the final kill (with my barrett) and the guy was like "I bet he was campin." The killcam was me running to a window and zooming in for 2 seconds and getting a headshot. guess what he said "yep. ur whole team is fuckin *****-ass campers."
