I just checked bestbuy.com and they have the 1600 card for $19.99, so 1200 is like $16.99. That's pretty expensive. I remember paying $15 for PC expansion packs back in the day, but that would include much more than new maps. That would also include new campaigns, game modes, different online play, etc.

For Xbox, Infinity ward or whoever is making these decision to set the price for five new maps at 1200 points is outrageous. I'd say it's not fair to price this any higher than 800 microsoft points.

Ok, my bad, $14.99. That's still way too expensive. I want the new maps, and I'm going to buy them. I just don't want to pay $14.99 for 5 maps. I know there are people out there that agree. Right...

The DLC is strictly maps.  The addition of more maps in the HC HQ playlist and the addition of HC Mosh Pit playlists are an update.  A FREE update.  It has no bearing on whether or not you purchased the DLC.  Once again we're not complaining about $5, we're complaining about $15 dollars.  Not the difference.  The price this pack costs compared to previous DLC with the same developer/publisher.  If you can give me a reasonable answer as to why they raised the price then I may possibly rethink my opinion on this matter.

We both know you don't fully believe what you just said.  Inflation relating to downloadable content?  If that were the case retail games would have gone up with them.  Current gen, first-party games have been floating at $60 for quite some time now.  The answer is "because we can", that's all.  They can.  They will.  You'll pay for it.
