Some of what you said makes no sense. 402 has stated more than once that they never had the capabilities that Treyarch had to constantly update. He gave them props for that. I have never seen a different Killstreak/Poinstreaks system in CoD. If thats supposed to be complicated, read how it works and you will not confused.

Take a year off??? I have over a yr and a half to get the new one together with having 2 developers. Everyone that just found out that CoD has 2 developers should really stop posting and acting like CoDs yr to yr devlopers system is flawed and needs a Beta. I have my dislikes about both developers games. Though i DO NOT need a Beta to let me know that they got the DRUG I NEED. I used to way back when, put them and MoH in a dead heat. Then when I saw Saving Private Ryan and played MoH with the game starting out just like the movie. I was sold.

Re: This game has absolutely no hype behind it.

COD XP seemed to give MW3 some hype considering that the multiplayer was available to the public who attended the event.

I've heard nothing but good reviews regarding MW3.from the community.

Looks like MW2...yes but from what I've seen so far, it is more balanced and apart from the bs in MW2 in terms of perks, MW2 looked decent.

Well, let's play the game before we judge it..mmmk??

It feels like Modern Warfare 3 has less of a hype dimension about it, to me. Maybe it's because Black Ops was such a bad experience for me, and I've come to expect less of the franchise now. Maybe it's because Activision and Modern Warfare 3's developers have confidence in the game. The game looks great, nonetheless.

Call of Duty 4 wasn't hyped up, and many Call of Duty fans regard it to be the best in the series. Hype isn't necessary for a great game to be produced.

Re: This game has absolutely no hype behind it.

You guys should back off a little bit. You're all supporting that everyone can have his own opinion, like the OP has, but when it comes to it, the only thing you do is flame him for having his own opinion. You guys don't agree with OP, and that's fine, but do you need to call him names for doing that? No.

Myself, I have to agree with the OP to some extent. The hype is definetely a whole lot lower than with Black Ops & MW2. I think that's IW's fault because, ok, they had the XP tournament, but that's it. We have gotten almost no trailers (except for the first 4 teasers that show us nothing at all). Besides, the XP event almost hasn't had any impact in Europe, where I live.

I also think that EA & Dice have a better strategy: They have developed a new enging (Frostbite 2) and they actually show us what they have done. Lots of gameplay, and even a beta (witch is more like a demo so close to the release). The beta wil let a lot of players shift from buying MW3 to buying BF3.

you heard of it? managed to find this forum and im sure have as others have said here managed to find the trailers, and read the articles about it, id say working as intended.

@depeeters erm Ea have given the gaming world a masterclass in how not to market a game, final nail in thier  marketting coffin was the release of abeta many took to be a demo

While I can respect you for being a stand up guy and all. Why are you on a forum for MW3 talking about *F3? There isnt any need for hype period! All long time CoD fans know what IW can produce. As far as Black Ops...that game was only hyped up by people ready for a new CoD because of the hacking of MW2.
