It does spellcheck.
When you make a post/reply, you will see a list of tools at the top.
Look all the way at the top right of the box. You will see the image of a green check mark with "abc" written on top. That is spell check. You can toggle it off/on.
If you click on it, it shall scan it. I can also scan it in different languages.
