Why should I prove that AA needs to be taken out?  It isn't my job.  I don't have any evidence to prove that it needs to stay in mainly because I don't see why this issue is even an issue.  I just think this is to troll on QSer to make them mad.  I mean that all you really have done here.

Personally I don't QS all the time and when I do its because I am in CQ where it is more logical to QS than to switch to my pistol.  I don't spend my time doing 360s of building trying to get a killcam.  I don't even think that 50% of the community can QS to save there life.  And if you remove AA then that number increases to 80 or even 90% of the community can't QS.  But there will still be QS and there still will be people doing 360s off buildings maybe there will be less of them, but that just means that there will be more people with ARs and SMGs that can kill you quicker than missing 1-3 times with a sniper, and that is what you want not more people running around with SMGs and ARs.

In the larger picture I rather have a noob with a sniper than a noob with a AR or SMG.  I don't wan't more noobs running around or even camping in corners with ARs and SMGs.  I'd rather have them running around like OpTic wannabes than tryhard noobs.

So without AA quickscoping would become useless? Unless you have aiming skill which is obviously harder on consoles.  I really don't see logic in removing AA.  I just don't see why every other class gets to keep it.

You are trying to just get rid of AA just off of snipers.

I said I wouldn't care if you got rid of them altogether that way every gun is still balanced.  Meaning snipers, ARs, etc are still shoot the same as they did with AA.

From what I gathered you is that you dislike QSers so much that you cannot stand that they are better than you but you don't want to admit it.  OR becuase you are a diehard Battlefield fan who just wants to see MW3 fail.  Those are about the only two logical explaination to why you want AA gone.  And I don't believe you are a diehard BF fan.

I don't see how AA is such a BIG DEAL to you.  If it does take skill, if it doesn't, what is it to you.  YOU HAVE NO SUPPORT from the community, thus making your cause just you crying about everyone being kids and don't want to support you because you though you had a good idea but it isn't so you cannot get over that fact.  Or else this thread like many others continue because the OP cannot give up on something he THINKS is true.  You may have "PROOF" but I am not going to do it.  Not because I don't want to but because I don't have to.

And before you start calling people retards you should really learn how to write sentences correctly and stay away from curse words if you really want to win you case.  I mean you are really not helping your case at all at this point.

    As stated in http://www.callofduty.com/message/10351#10351

I don't quick-scope. Couldn't if I tried. (and I have tried. Failed horribly.) I do use the Sniper 90% of the time though. (99% of the time in MW2)

Do I have an issue with quickscopers? Answer = Nope. I am skilled enough to be able to get positive K/Ds against them, so who cares? For those that complain about quickscopers: become more tactical. Don't just run and gun. Utilize your team, Set up spotters, runners and coverers and open up your own can of ownage. Build your skill. Teach by example, not by running your mouth off like a 12 year old crying foul play.

@ifrerkinbr4di: You have gone about this all wrong. Let me point out the issues in your arguments that are currently working against your cause.

1: Your posts are obnoxious. You have complained this whole time, claiming things such as skill and exploits being foul play and game mechanics abuse. Suggestion: Be civil. Don't complain, and don't challenge people with your meaningless challenges. Make suggestions, yes. Call players who have mastered an exploit/skill (whatever you want to call it) noobs and say they suck? Not likely to help your cause, ol' chap.

2: You have repeatedly told others to stop whining, when you yourself are doing just that. Whining. And about something as trivial as QSing.

3: YOU started this page TO SEE WHAT OTHERS THOUGHT about the issue. THEN, you turned around and told everyone that disagreed with you that they were "stupid, childish, retarded, idiotic, moronic, etc, etc." Good sir, this is not the way to go about things. You asked for opinions, you got them. Take them like an adult. Accept that people have different opinions and respond to them like an adult. Your responses are angry flames about the intelligence of others and the things they bring to the table. If you have half a brain, (and im sure that you do,) then learn to respond without trying to degrade the responses and personal opinions that you got from your thread.

I know this all might sound hypocritical at this point, but really, in some cases I believe people need a little assistance from the "eye for an eye" perspective.

NOW! On to my personal opinion. I say keep AA on the game. It brings in and keeps more newbies to practice different skills on. I personally do not feel threatened by auto aim, regardless of what I am using and what the opponent is using. It's a game mechanic that is there to assist new people, and one that has little to no effect on those players that have honestly honed their skills. I have personally disabled the AA, because I find that it hinders my shots more than helps them. Especially with long range moving targets. Auto Aim wants to follow the body when I want to aim ahead of the enemy to pick them off with more assurance that I will actually get a kill shot, and not just wound/warn them that they are in danger.

That's just my opinion. Keep AA. If nothing else, It will convince the less skilled to become more skilled so that things such as quick scopers are of no significance. That way, someday, they may just die out naturally.

Now, ifrerkinbr4di, when responding, as you most likely will, lets remember these key things: Be an adult. Don't flame like a child. Don't challenge my intelligence just because I have not brought any 'solid evidence' to back my claim. This is opinion. I don't need evidence of it. I believe these are things that you are fully capable of. So, lets see them in action.

Oh, I can only turn it off in Black Ops huh? Would you mind explaining to me why I just went on MW2 and COD5 and found the option too? Idiot. Again, no difference, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever taken time to witness the aim assist in action.
