Petition for extra month premium elite due to problems with beachead reply

Sign here if you feel premium members deserve an extra month membership due to ongoing problems. Still no clan operations, theatre and vault not working correctly, badges not appearing in showcase.....the list goes on. If I buy a product and it's faulty i take it back and get a replacement, so a month extra membership seems fair. Sign if you agree!

I completely agree....at this point I believe ELITE to be a completely worthless purchase and am fully regretting the extra $$ spent to get this service. The fact that they can just "chang" competition times without notice, not Clan competitions to increase Clan XP, etc. is just utter B.S. They led consumers to believe one thing and have completely and consistently missed the mark. Extending the service for an addtional 1 to 2 months, ON TOP of the ALREADAY promised 1 month is the LEAST they could do. Otherwise, I will not be renewing my elite membership. Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice....shame on me.
How much longer do we have 2 wait for clan showcase becomes available ? And yes Where are those badges and what happens 2 competitions im listed in ? They did a shitty job indeed and what about every month free dlc for premium members ? So many questions and so little answers
First, they put it through a beta test which ended monthes before the game was released. What were they doing that whole time between, I would say nothing and I still believe they aren't doing anything. They gave us a new game mode to mask everything they should be fixing. Since there was this beta, Elite should of been working as the game was released there is no excuse for it to not be working at 100% and the challenges they have are weak. They advertised competition for prizes and badges. All I have seen is a badge and hoodie.... SWEET... NOT. Second, people who paid for elite, where is the DLC each month, its been a month, and how lazy are the developers to make a lame winter camo with some sticks on it for the founder camo really? You guys need to figure it out and give us more for your laziness it should be up and ready when the game was released not monthes after.
I couldn't agree more! We are passed 1 extra mo of elite. There needs to be further compensation at this point. This is just ridiculous at this point. they have made over 1billion and we cant even get what we paid for. This is very much so a complete rip off. This will be the last IW/SH game i buy. Hopefully Activision will wake up and just let tryarch handle CoD for the next few years. Maybe then IW/SH will remover their head from their butt and produce a quality product worth buying.

I think when elite is fully up and running it will be worth the money, but at nearly 2 months after release it's getting silly how its still not working fully!
Yep total & utter joke of a service, will definetly not renew, if thet cared enough they would have had it well & truely sorted by now....

A lot of people here are unhappy. I'm really sorry about that. I know my answers can't change your legitimate gripes. However, I'm hoping that we can start to show you guys some real progress and you feel like we are listening.
While I can't give you a free month of ELITE, I will try and answer some of the concerns here.
Clan Operations:
We're working hard on this, and the feature is in development now. As it moves into testing and release, I will keep you guys updated. Our goal is to release it in January. We're sorry about the delay -- we needed to do a lot of work at launch for stability and security and now we are turning our attention to important features like this.
Video Uploads:
I don't know if you had a chance to read GHANDI's reply in the other thread about this, but there are a lot of things going on with video upload right now, and there will be a TU for MW3 in January to address them. We're also going to be adding some extensive error messaging into ELITE as a hotfix this week. We'll keep you posted.
Badges not appearing in showcase:
We're investigating this one. I will give you an update as soon as I can.
Where is the DLC?
DLC hasn't been delayed. There will be announcements on this soon. You will get your DLC, for sure.
Real prizes:
Some of the smaller prizes you've seen were part of testing process. We'll be ramping up the prizes over the next month. Stay tuned.

Guys -- I know it's really hard when you aren't getting anywhere and no one is giving you any information. All of the guys at Beachhead have been working their asses off on stability and security. We're now turning our attention to get you the features and DLC content you are due.

Risensei, I'm sorry you feel that way. I can only give you the facts:
Video issues: MW3 has a TU planned for January.
Clan Operations: We are working on them, they will be entering test shortly.
DLC: not delayed, still on track, looks pretty good actually.
Real prizes: again, we're ramping up the real prizing. You will see bigger prizes, over the next month.
I'm sorry that there hasn't been anyone around to respond directly to your concerns. We're trying to fix that. This post, and others, are our first meagre attempts.
We're not expecting to win you over with promises -- only results. We'll do our best.
Thanks for getting back at least. I'm only interested in results not promises and I'll believe it when I see it with my own eye's... so hopefully you can deliver this time round...

No point in not being easy going, they will release it when it is ready.........1,000,000 complaint threads are not going to speed the process up
I'm in shock that I got a responce, and to be honest with you, I am not convinced that it is from beachhead, maybe I should be somewhat thankful that someone responded, but vague answers just don't cut it. A weekly update at minimum, improvements we can see... How many have seen this "responce?" A couple hundred,...a thousnd? There are one million, customers waiting.
Well, I'll try and give you guys some more background.
I work at Beachhead on the development team. We are a seperate entity from Activision. In some cases, there is going to be communication from Activision which can be out of step with what is actually going on with ELITE -- this is one of the problems with big companies.
I dropped in here at the request of GHANDI who works over at IW. We saw a lot of people who were unhappy on the boards, here. Meanwhile the team at Beachhead has been heads down trying to work on stability and security. There are not a lot of services that had to ramp up as quickly as we did. We were surprised by that. This is not an execuse, just the reality of the situation.
Right now, I'm trying to help the team keep abreast of burning issues -- bugs, major problems, and broken promises. Once I'm done helping out with that we'll start talking to you guys about what's in the pipeline and what's being worked on. I'm happy to give you guys details. When I said Clan Operations is being worked on, that means I've spoken to the engineer who is working on the code, looked at the design, and it's making progress into our test environment. Once something hits our test environment, we bang on it until it feels solid and then roll it out.
I wish we could move faster. But to be honest, some of the issues we encountered around launch were due to moving too quickly. We would rather get something out to you guys that we feel is solid then continue to piss off the community.

I upgraded because they advertised you can level up your clan with clan operations and challenges. Flat out lie. Class action suit?

I don't know if you have been following the thread in the ELITE sub-forum, but here are the details.
We could not ship Clan Operations at launch. There were security, performance, and stability issues. You probably encountered some of these issues yourself.
A lot of our focus in the last month has been on Operations. Specifically ensuring that they are fair. It would have been a terrible decision to roll out Clan Operations and have Clans cheat their way to the top or have an unstable experience.
The consequence of these issues was that the Clan Operations feature was delayed. I'm sorry about that. The feature is in development right now. When it enters final testing, I will tell you guys. When it is about to release, I will let you know.
You have a right to be pissed off. There's no excuse here.
There are still clan issues, as well. Invites are sent that are not being received, then when they do get them and try to accept, it doesn't always work and the invites have to be sent again.
Of course the Clan Ops are not working and that is frustrating; however, I'd rather see them launch in working order than get them and be full of bugs and glitches.
Also, with the individual events, you may be working on making them fair, but it is not working. Gold winners are getting 700-800 kills in Domination. 180 minutes / 10 minute games = 18 games in 3 hours. If you estimate 25 games in three hours, a person would have to get approximately 30 kills per game. If you look on their game history, they are not getting that. Some games they get less than 10 kills per game. This really needs to be investigated better.
I do think that those of us who signed in expecting certain things to be working should get something. In the beginning, 1 month would have been sufficient, but the longer these problems remain, I think we should get more than 1 month or 2.
So when am I gonna get my 3rd prestige toekn from over a month ago? Your prestige calculator sucks...

My COD Elite is still not showing my badges in my Showcase in my Elite Summary. I was told that it was a server issue and was being fixed asap by the customer rep....When I asked if my badges would actaully appear after the fix, or if my event info would reset after the fix...he replied....and this is no joke...IT WILL BE CORRECTED. This is Crazy... YES..we need an extra month..I AGREE
Thanks for the report on the Showcase. There's a thread in the ELITE sub-forum on this. We're still working on identifying the problem -- I will let you know when that has occurred and what the timing is for a fix.

How about all you kids stop freaking crying about your memberships. You act like you didn't know that this was IW first endeavor to do something like this. Not only that but you all act as if there are never issues with a hit game when it comes out. If it makes you sleep alright at night too just think that you didn't spend 50 dollars on the Elite service but on the DLC and map packs that are coming out. Not to mention this first map pack will have 5 maps. Stop your crying
How 'bout a Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection investigation instead?
