If I die from someone sitting (looking down their sights) in a corner, I will consider a level 5 noob (that's walking around, going like 2 and 23) a better player. I don't care if they're a 7th prestige, camping requires no skill whatsoever.

I had the worst experience with campers yesterday in TDM. It was in that french urban map, "Lockdown" I believe. Most or all of the enemy team had a definite game plan to hold down the middle of the map. They had every angle covered. They were obviously all communicating, not through the lobby. I tried to slowly pick them off but I didn't have a useful stealth class to counter them properly, ended up using an assault riffle with no silencer and red dot sight, it was effective to get one and damage another. Every time I got killed, saw the kill cam and sure enough full time ADS for these people and claymores all over.

One thing I did notice in a couple of my kills was that these people were so concerned about promptly getting back to their spot that they would not check their areas and were easy kills.

I was so pissed with the random team that I had because they barely would make an attempt to slow down. By the time I rage quit I was perhaps 9-8 but the rest of my team had an average of 4-12.

so what is your useful tip

    My tips:

    Take over someone else's campground.

They will be pissed that you did and will try to take it back. This works best in a place that you have a little room to move around in. And after 1 or 2 kills, move. Can't tell you how many times I've shot people from behind because they think I'll be in the same spot and come shooting into a room when I've really jumped out of a window and chased them back into the building.

    Pick your shots

Last night, I noticed that I only needed about about 2000 points to level up, so I decided I was going to ghillie up and hide in a shrub for 10 minutes to get the flawless challenge while my 4 friends won the game of Dom. We started on the C side and I ran to the left facing A and hit the dirt next to the fence. They ended up getting C because my team all went to B. After they pushed them back to the A spawn, I started seeing people come down the tunnel. Ended up getting 21 kills laying in the exact same spot before someone shot me. Only had a minute or so left in the game, but ended with something like 23-2.

    Perks/Setup

    Blind Eye/Assassin/Ninja

Use whatever weapon you like. Specialist would be good because when they get really determined, they will be coming faster and with bigger numbers. As for equipment, I would choose C4 because it's the funniest when you kill someone with it. To me, anyway.

I almost always start a game rushing, but sometimes when you hit a wall of campers it doesn't always work. So I found the best thing to do is move a little slower and pick them off. They'll start getting angry, playing more aggressively, and missing more shots.

Why bother with tips? Play the game, if you suck then play more. If you still suck, then perhaps MW3 isn't for you. Simple as that.

Work on your situational awareness. You can't be a good CAMPER/PATROLLER if you're an idiot and expect people to walk infront of your gun. You have to know the map and where people will least expect you. You have to pay attention to your mini map, if your team isn't dying or their triangle isn't lit up then chances are an enemy isn't near by. Also stay as far from your teammates as possible (maybe not so much in this CoD) that's where you'll find the enemy most vaulnerable because they'll be moving away from you

Use high powered weapons and make every shot count. You will typically have longer lives than non-campers/patrollers so you're going to need the extra ammo down the road. Also use silencers and claymores/BBs. NEVER stay in the same spot for more than a few kills/minutes. NEVER go back to the same spot immediately after a death. Camping/patrolling is all about being unpredicatable
