You got the stats a bit wrong. Just thought I'd let you know. To get Time To Kill, you get the delay in between each shots (which, if you want it in seconds, can be found by taking 60 and dividing by the fire rate). You then multiply this by the number of bullets needed to kill minus one. The "minus one" part is because the first bullet is fired immediately upon pressing the trigger, meaning there is no delay to account for.
Secondly, I would like to add that Burst Fire does not make it take more skill than any other weapon. In fact, I would say the Type 95 takes less skill.
The Type 95 has a very quick Time To Kill, so you only have to keep your aim over your opponent for a small length of time. For example, with the ACR 6.8 you have to hold your aim over the opponent for about 0.17 seconds; you only have to keep the aim over your enemy for .06 seconds with the Type 95. I don't see how this makes the Type 95 require more accuracy to use, when you only have to be accurate for a fraction of the time you have to be for other weapons. In fact, it's easy to accidentally kill your opponent by flailing your aim around while shooting with the Type 95.
The Type 95 does require a tad bit more of timing than other weapons-- you have to pull the trigger AFTER aiming. If this is a difficult feat then I guess the Type 95 does take more skill than other weapons, even then, only a marginable amount more. Not even enough to create a significant skill gap. I thought that firing after aiming was a fundamental concept in First Person Shooters, one that's mastered at the most basic level of play. But, if the Type 95 requires so much more skill than the other weapons, I guess not.
And its damage dropoff is not an excuse for its overpoweredness. The ranges of all the maps make it negligible most of the time.

Your evidence is circumstantial. I agree that the T95 is a very powerful gun. I disagree that it's OP. And declaring it the best weapon in the game is just a matter of opinion.
On paper, yes, you make it sound like the only gun to use. When in reality it's a great gun when used for its intended purpose. Mid to long range, it's great. Short range, it's meh. I'd much rather have an MP7 when my opponent has a T95 if I'm in the same room as him. I think the T95 is a great weapon on certain maps, but on more close quarter combat maps, I'd still strongly go for an SMG or shotgun if I'm feeling randy.

You're kidding right? That thing owns at close range too!! I've been owned by them when I have an SMG in close range (post patch!)

Yes, I agree. The type95 is newbie failsauce. I guess they had to throw in guns like that for the trash to b happy. Ohh btw the best load out is Type85, Fmg9 akimbo ftw (fail).

What else do you want? Yeah, the type 95 is overpowered, but in its own way. Distances are its advantage. Basically what Infinity Ward and or any other company did was ban the close range type 95; not that they completely stopped it, but made it more difficult at close to medium range with the gun. And with the FMG9's, they made thye recoil higher and crosshairs for hip-fire larger.

Check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvm8g5vyNDM&feature=g-all
Like I said, hip-fire is not completely gone for the type 95. They didn't patch anything about the power because they have their own advantages.
