Re: Great new additions to BO, not in MW3?

It's called a 'death' streak... Your opponent gets the reward when they die, because you have done enough to kill them!

If the guy is on his feet then it's COMPLETELY different, he is not dead, you have not done enough to kill him at that point. It's only once you've done enough to kill him, that the kill should be yours, regardless of whether or not you finish him, or someone else dives in and finishes him before you get the chance.

The only real point I wanna make here is that I could and would have finished him off, I did enough to shoot him to the ground in the first place, but someone else has jumped in and finished him off in that split second between my last bullet putting him on his arse and my next bullet finishing him! That is not right!

If I put him in final stand and I am not good enough to finish him, and he finishes me, then fine, I deserved to die, and he deserves the kill! If one of my teammates then comes along and finishes off the guy in final stand, I do not deserve the kill, he deserves the kill!

I think you're right. I'm already starting to get bored with MW3. Black Ops had me riveted up until the very last day before MW3 came out. I never got bored of Black Ops. Not even close. It was huge fun every day for a solid year. In MW3,but the maps do suck pretty badly, and the insane high gun damage just makes the game less fun and skill-oriented. Now you barely have to aim and you get an instant kill. Killstreaks **** you every match, even if you use Stinger and trophy system. Predators and Stealth bombers get tons of kills every match without fail. This is not the "more gun on gun" game we were promised.

    Region Lock

End of game stats (they want us to use Elite)

    Last/final stand (assist not kill)

Killstreak kills feed killstreak progression (they should not)

    Quickscoping

Cannot check other players combat record in pre game lobby (they want us to use Elite)

Audible count down timer in lobby

    Inferior private match customisation

In game ability to view others games and clips (they want us to use Elite)

Upset because they removed the yy or triangletriangle glitch that cancelled reload animation while completing the reload..... Not sure I agree there, the more of those little glitches they can fix pre-release the better so they can focus on real problems with the game.

I think the kill should be an assist for each person and 1 kill for the team. Problem Solved.

Re: Great new additions to BO, not in MW3?

Call of Duty Black Ops was the shittest game to date in the entire Call of Duty series.
I bought it, and hated it after a month. The amount of tent pitchers, AK74u Rapid Fire sprayers, Assassin (cant remember its name in Bo) perk users and out right noobs was absolutely infuriating. I am tempted to list every single flying frigging fault that Treyarch made, but I will restrain myself to the three that infuriate me the most: the horrid weapons, the horrid maps and the disgusting lag abilities BlackOps servers possess. Only thing I miss include the Special Weapons and sometimes the Blackbird (easily replaceable by Adv. UAV). Lets see.
AK74u pre-patch - replaceable after patch with the choice of rapid fire or Grip, depending on the size of map. Quickscoping - a no go. Its impractical to snipe on BlackOps, totally ruining the challlenge of skill and adrenaline that go into such fun aspects.Tomahawk - sh*t crosshair. Throwing Knife kicks the sh*t out of it. Maps - bad layout all around: hundreds of nooks and crannies that take time to look into: any tent could layed there, and campers often replaced their roaring fire and marshmallows with a claymore. Local wasnt even local: I used to join matches of annoying proportion filled with stoned Americans, infuriated Chinese people or kids who thought it was funny to hipfire with Steady Aim and Rapid Fire from annoying lengths. Personally, I hated BlackOps, and MW3 fine-tuned everything except certain weapon types: all shotguns need revamping besides maybe the AA12, the PP90M1/Steady Aim/Rapid Fire combo and some other petty things...

Compared with BlackOps, I find MW3 ten times more enjoyable - the killstreak types and choices, Prestige tokens, Spec Ops (despite the fact that zombies was just amazing!), quickscoping bring-back, good servers (havent lagged except for host migration and occasional spikey host) and almost all good maps. Ofcourse, like all games, it needs some toying with - but not everyone will be satisfied with the end result.

Kill should definitely go to the guy who drops him, especially when you consider that the guy in last/second/whatever the f stand gets to continue shooting at me with his primary weapon, he's essentially getting more hit points. I should get the kill when I depleat the standard amount of hitpoints all players have.

Re: Great new additions to BO, not in MW3?

Also, I was one of those guys in BO who would drop people and let them lay there. My whole clan would. When you're playing objectively and half of the opposition is laying in some corner with their pistol trained on the horizon hoping for a guy who won't ever come, it's a pretty effective counter to a candy-assed perk.
