Stop crying. The MP9 machine pistols akimbo are just as good. I'm sick of the nerf this and nerf that threads. Just like the type 95. Type 95 is only good if you can aim.
Not really, if a guy or anyone was Scoped in on a doorway and a guy happened to move into his line of site the guy would due nearly instantly due to the 1 burst kills.

maybe u just have to aim better since 2 weeks or so i didnt get killed by an fmg9 and im using shotgun...
Me aiming better doesn't change the fact that it takes 2 bullets to kill with the AA-12 up close.
Not only the aa12 takes to shots but the ******* KSG12??!?! WTF IS THAT . more than half my kills with it are 2 shots and its slooooowwwww pump action just lets me die alot, i love using shotguns but i have to switch to my acr mid game to avoid throwing my controller thru the tv. i would upload some of the f*cked up videos of me shooting someone from two feet away but that takes to much effort
Use the qsers technique.
LT/RT and 1 shot usually does the trick. Apparently the pattern is just so wide hipfiring you dont get them with all the pellets.
There is no difference when you aim. The spread is exactly the same ADS and hipfired.
The akimbo FMG9's are the only guns in the game I think should be nerfed. And only at mid range. At close range they should r@pe. That is the point of running akimbo. Low accuracy and high close range power. But those FMG9s are pretty damn accurate and deadly at mid range. More so then almost any SMG and even more then some of the ARs. That to me needs to be toned down.
They are only dangerous at short range and if you rush. Just slow your game get an AR and nag flash first and then clan em out.
I disagree. I use the M4A1 and the MP7. Both of these weapons are effective at medium range. I have still been killed by the akimbo FMG9s more times than I can count at medium range even though that fire fight should favor my set up. And in case you want to make the "well I guess you are a terrible shot" comment, I have an accuracy rating just north of 18% which is decent considering I never use shotguns, burst weapons, or semi auto weapons to pad my accuracy stats. This gun (FMG9) is too accurate and OP at mid range. It should be modified in a way that allows it to stay as is in close range but decreases the accuracy and damage at mid range IMO...
Sure just saying it doesn't bother me. That's all.

Why dont you stop being a cryhard and start reading some posts before you post. A ReBalancing patch is coming out this week.

If you're going to nerf the FMGs they better nerf the damn striker. FMGs are my go to against striker kids.
Take out secondary machine guns, shotguns, grenade launchers, death streaks (don't get me started on dead mans hand), EMP flashing teamates and not the enemies, everything that can kill you on the "support" packages (Stealth bombers especially -- all move to assault), and the flares on the recon drone (***** hard enough to shoot down as it is with a decent pilot). Then we'd have a pretty sweet game!
Good point. Don't nerf anything gun balance is pretty good. Play style and countermeasure for all IMHO.

Funny thing is. I use my Striker with range to counter FMGs and quickscopers.
Oh yeah, this is the way to be taken seriously - a mindless, anger-filled rant. That's always more effective than a coherent and well-constructed argument.
Here's an idea, play the game and find the weapon that suits you best. If the Type 95 is so awesome - and I don't think it is - use it yourself. In the real world, the AK47 is powerful but inaccurate, the M16 is accurate but lacks punch (though a bone strike is devestating because the bullet deflects), the M14 is accurate but heavy and unwieldy, and so on and so on. Every weapon has its good points and bad. Find yours, but don't whine because someone else found there's.

Tell me the good point about shotguns, and don't tell me they dominate at ECQE because everyone knows that isn't true.
But they do. The people who gripe about shotguns had gotten used to their power in MW2, but can't modify their play style to adapt to how they are designed in MW3.
If they are so tough to beat use them.There isn't a weapon in this game that is OP'd, It's all a matter of perspective.The only gun I ever agreed with nerfing was the 74u on blops, no THAT was retarted

I tought the fmg`es was re-balanced in the .12 hotfix, but certainly not after I tested them yesterday. As good as before! He said this week, and that was twittered tuesday, so they probably tried it in the .12 hotfix. A patch should be out, but nothing to be seen yet. It was something about lag comp, stats loss and unlock country lock region matchmaking. But for those they need a patch....for the weapon rebalance, it should be enough with a hotfix. So strange it isnt fixed in the hotfix few days ago.
i havent seen people use the akimbo SMG in a while actually. and i hardly see people us the Type 95.
either way, i still dont care cuz i dont care what i die by.
They were nerfed a few days back but I cant tell the difference when they are being used akimbo. There are two schools of people with nerfings. One - Hell just keep it the same and man up. Two - Why not try and make the game more balance. I have to follow the latter train of thought. Given we have the luxury of nerfing games nowadays we should exploit it. Im pretty sure If Capcom released streetfighter way back in the day they could have nerfed Guile they would have. No games company knows how the game will fair on the open market until its too late. Patching the game ( as long as its reasonable ) makes good sense. You dont make cookies for the first time ever and say yep thats how I make them and I'll never ever try to make them better no matter how bad they are.
From an enjoyment POV. Even the die hards against nerfing must get frustrated by these weapons. Some guy going 30-0 rounds a corner with his pistol pre-aimed fires one off.....and some noob with his eyes closes grabs the pad randomly with akimbos and mows him down easily. There is no skill in akimbos its just a wall of bullets. I think the machine pistols were a bad idea anyway. Secondaries should have 10-15 bullets and should the last chance saloon for a guy who's primary has run out. Not 'oh im going into CQ its akimbo time'. I think ALL akimbos should be removed even pistols. Secondaries should be exactly that second choice when you have no other. It would also add value to the perk overkill which lets be fair is redundant.
Feelin your pain but their are v short range. Just hang back don't rush in and killen with AR. Works ok if on Dome I use ump with rapid and smack em.

They have been touched. I'm not going to lie, I used them a lot and I can see the difference now than what they were a few days ago. They're still very good with Steady Aim, but not nearly as good without it.
Even with Steady Aim, they aren't as good as they used to be.

i use these guns akimbo as my CQ gun i would use overkill and a shotgun if they were any good

Lmao, I use the gun personally since I use SMG's and they run out of ammo quickly and the FMG9 is the best secondary in my opinion with Akimbo but I too think it needs to be nerfed. You can take out so many people with that it's ridiculous. I'm not too familiar with how nerfing works but I know what it is. Maybe they should make the clip size smaller if possible? That way the dude can't run in and shoot it in a 360 motion and take out so many guys.
I think another thing is, is that in MW3, it seems like Steady Aim is not even needed because the hip fire accuracy without it seems the exact damn same if you ask me.

I do agree that the stupid machine pistols are op expecially the akimbos. I swear people use them as soon as they spawn. its ridiculous that they are using the akimbo machine pistols over their primary weapon, that says a lot about the guns right there. i dont mind them if they arent using akimbo but akimbo is just bs

The level of whining regarding weapons in this game is crazy. Seriously...
And no I don't use the Type 95, or FMG machine pistol or any akimbo settup. Feel free to research the weapons I use.
Like I always say, if people are getting this upset about how "OP" weapons are they need to start taking breaks from playing this game.
I tend to look at things in the opposite view...not so much a handful of weapons being OP, but a bunch of other things being UP.
Like LMGs could definitely use a buff (besides the M60E). LMGs are supposed to be firing harder-hitting rifle rounds primarily, IIRC. Compared to SMGs, that primarily fire pistol rounds, that should mean that, especially at a distance, LMGs should easily outgun SMGs and even ARs. But here, most of the LMGs are only barely as good or inferior to them. Add in the lag/lag compensation...yeah...get sick of getting into a gunfight against someone 2 blocks away with a LMG, get killed, and see them using a PP90M1 despite me using 1/4 of my clip into their chest.
