If they do make Gun DLC it would work just like Map Packs. Only the people that have that DLC would be grouped together. I don't understand why any of you could not figure that out.

How do you know they maxed out the memory?

From the resolution and texture qualities, they probably didn't.

All I want to see is them make secondaries able to have more skins, I want gold MP9s!

Crysis 2 added some DLC weapons didnt they? (why am i saying didn't they? I downloaded the map pack myself) A new assault rifle and Smoke Grenades as well as maps, the idea of Weapon DLC is possible.

Lol you're arguing with a fact one of the developers of CoD brought up himself.

Do you realize that every time the map loads, the models, textures and gun sounds of EVERY WEAPON INTHE GAME have to be loaded into the GPU RAM along side each map in eventuallity that a player may switch to another weapon in another class?

All together thats around 68 weapons including lethal and tactical, that and the potential killstreaks  and the actual map itself is alot of data to store on the consoles paltry memory capacity, which is only 512MB
