Not exactly I agree there is a problem, have never said there wasn't, whether or not it is related directly to the "infamous misnamed lag comp" is another matter, This is no different to the omg blops is the laggiest game ever sign here threads last year.. apart from for some reason lag comp has become the byword and phrase de jour., and like blops last year the same point is still valid, if it was a coding issue it would effect everyone equally..it doesn't.
reading this thread you have people with actual isues, people who got killed once and posted how unfair it was.. look on other threads,, people say either host is g-dly or handicapped then others saying you cant tell who is host. what one is the correct answer.? these type of threads really serve no purpose past making the posters feel better, they dont give any useful infomation to the devs mostly as the majority of the people posting dont understand what they are complaining about and have bandwagoned onto the lag comp misnomer. a classic example being that ridiculous overbaked video that people hold and hug all that shows is the game working as intended as thats what happens when you have a rewind state a few odd wtf moments.
Imo i'd say the main culprit is and has been from the start how their have matchmaking setup, exactly the same as the last mw game had until they fixed it. If you are getting matched with people outside your "comfort zone" of distance yes you will have a higher ping .
