Is the striker the only good shotgun in MW3?

Hey guys I have this gameplay on MW3 using the striker. It was my last game until i prestiged and I gotta say, even though it is the only semi auto shotgun, it is kinda hard to use. What do you guys think?

hard to use? Use Damage combined with the Extended Mags glitch to get a 210% damage increase. Pretty sure it's better than the Type 95 when you use it that way.

But yeah it's pretty much the only shotgun that can keep up with all the other classes without using the extended mags glitch and damage proficiency

  care to explain the glitch? or is it bannable/ not allowed? And could you give me some tips on attachments and what not. thanks

    It's not bannable. Basically on shotguns, the extended mag increases the magazine size 1.5x but ALSO increase the number of shells fired in each shot by 1.5x. The Spas-12 normally shoots 8 pellets per blast, but with extended mags shoots 12 pellets per blast. If all 12 pellets hit that is 1.5x more damage. Add the "Damage" proficiency and you increase the damage on each individual pellet by 1.4x. Some people think IW put this in intentionally but I disagree. Either way you can't get banned for simply using a certain attachment on a gun.
    
    So yeah the only attacment I recommend on any shotgun is ext mags.

      Good to know once We reach 10th, who is going to try to get 500 kills with them every prestige needs a medal.

The AA-12 is good but the starting ammo amount is too low.

It and the AA12 were for the longest time. I believe that the pump actions got a buff though in one of these patches. My 1887 deffinitaly seems to be alot more consistant

BTW if you run the AA-12 with extended mags, the range proficiency, and Scavenger Pro, it is insanely good.

  I actually used the AA-12 with Range and Extended Mags yesterday, and I agree, it's pretty damn good (although I use extended mags anyway, due to limited ammo).
  
  And no, the glitch is not bannable, because people probably already use extended mags, and didn't even know about the extra pellets. Although, if IW HAD to fix it, we should get the extra pellets (and more) without having to use extended mags.

That wasn't a rampage video btw, I just went 50 plus with the striker on dome with only grip & stability. Some people were qsing, I got one dude 18 times while he was holding his sniper rifle. Hilarious.
