i get this problem every couple of days now and it started the first time i went to boot mw3. tried everything and the only solution i have found so far is to strip down the ps3's bluray drive and clean the lasers. still, its only a temp fix, cos after a few days it starts happening again, but still, takes me about 20mins to do and it sorts it right out for a few days.

Did MW3 kill peoples consoles? if so i smell i class action lawsuit! Kinda funny that Activion says try game on other ps3 it might be a bad disc. "delete data utility then reinstall" & if that dont work call sony about your gaming console. how did this happen to alot of people all at the same time? all with the same problem? "DISK READ ERROR" /crashing freezing ps3. keep posting in here maybe they will own up too this and do somthing???? as of now i am done returning mw3 disc for other ones and still getting errors! i think they need to patch the patch b/c this game is junk! was fun at first now this junk has pissed alot of people off!

this is getting beyond the joke, i hope this error happens to one of the guys at Activition then they realise how much of a piss take this is....... signed another pissed person!!

Come on IW or Activision!! People accually pay u guys for this game,not cheap either, and had this problem now for over two weeks.time fix the game!!!

rang activition just now they said they have emailed me for instructions on how to replace it and said it will be free but post and packaging costs! MORE MONEY TAKEN OUT MY POCKET. However they havnt emailed me . going to wait till tommorow till i ring them again.

Other than that they saud try re installing and deleting cache and cookies ... didnt work for me.
