I though this was going to be about wanna be gangsta's listing to terrible rap music while wearing their headsets. Have you ever noticed the only people dumb enough to listen to music are ALWAYS listening to rap music and no other genre?

Music has never been in hardcore. Between that and all the messages taking up the screen, I don't know how you people play core.

I often have to use Sitrep Pro in MP games because even with my Astro A40s set perfectly for me using Dolby Digital (fibre-optic cable) which is 5.1 Surround Sound I STILL have trouble hearing footsteps over the infernal music in the game.

When I am in game, I am VASTLY more interested in the person coming through the door behind me on the left whom I can hear coming up the stairs hellbent on making me perish than I am on the Call of Duty Heavy Metal Experience© informing me I have gained 500 XP for stunning a person with a concussion grenade via blaring badly played guitar in my ears accompanied by the bloody symphony orchestra!

Just give us the ability to turn it off.

In fact, I am really enjoying MW3 for the most part but the real gripes I have with it are not OP weapons, stupid maps or anything like that, it is one simple thing:

Overlooking basic features that vastly increase gameplay.

Such as captures/defends in the Domination scoreboard, lack of game modes, do it like Treyarch, seperate playlists for Core/HC/Prestige with THE SAME GAME MODES IN EACH! That way everyone is catered to really.

The list goes on and on, just simple things that would have improved this game a thousand fold, the little things count the most.

I am firmly of the belief that this 'game' could have just been released as a DLC for MW2, it does not warrant the waste of a disk at all.
