Then you got lucky UAKiller.  I've tried every variation listed here and it still won't create the clan..

Not sure what you did, that it feels like you wasted your founder's boost.

It worked for me.  I did the tab trick, and created my Clan and then was able to apply the Founder's Boost of 500 Clan XP to the Clan.  The Clan is currently a level 2 Clan, and needs only 25 more Clan XP to become level 3. 

It works.

I tried it several times before this workaround was published, and it didn't lose my founder's xp boost.  Relax.  Maccabi is doing what can be done to help people out.  Blaming Maccabi for you feeling like you have somehow wasted your founder's xp is utterly ridiculous nonsense.

Just be patient a little while longer.  They are slowly getting the features up and online little by little.  There isn't much left to fix, outside of the Clan system, and that is being worked now, as we have seen more and more of it become visible, available, and ultimately usable throughout the day.

looks like they've got the issue of the clan name disappearing fixed, still can't manage to get my clan registered so there's still some issue

2) Hit submit so the xb boost box appears (you will notice the clan name dissapears) press ctrl +z and the clan name will re appear allowing you to now complete the process. If the cursor doesn't appear in the text box hit shift+tab (fix/suggestion given by Serevarno )

 

If this step doesn't work for people, I actually had no problem clicking right into the text box to re-enter my clan name after it had disappeared. No funky keystrokes required - a left click did the job, followed by re-entering my clan name of course! After that just accept and you're good to go!
