Did you hear him right? YES: EVERYTHING IS UNLOCKED in unranked servers; unless the admin locks it;
and In most cases the only thing that will be dissallowed, are last stand, marty, and the likes, maybe some tubes; and since you're not having to unlock anything who needs that crap anyway?

Check you in-game server browser; use the filter to filter by game; odds are any one who's hard core enough (like my self) to run a MW3 server, wouldn't run a soft core server. and most are marked HC. I run mostly CTF (that's the mode my clan plays) but since it's a new game i have thown HQ, DOM DEM, and TDF in to the mix (tried KC but even though i like that they have added an objective to TDM, most people still don't get it, and being a CTF team; most of my clan doesn't have the patience for SD. but i have found many servers running sd on them) and i see a few HQ servers as well. but more then likely that would be mixed in with a standard competitive mode.
or a TDM server.

I love this game and addicted to Multiplaying now. This is my first experience and has gotten almost unbearable to play lately. Hackers are blatantly and openly bragging in game because they know nothing is being done. I understand the PC is always gonna be susceptible to hacks, but come on.. do something. Coming out with map packs is like a slap in the face almost. But I guess that's capitalism 101 these days. You've got my money secured, not sit back and become a complacent fat cat. <-- Shame on you.
I almost gave up due to the unchecked hacking.. yada, yada, yada. Almost every lobby I went into today people are aimboting, dropping moab's 30secs into the game, and all the other assorted bs. It's one big infectious disease ridden game that developers are apparently doing nothing about. You got my money and leave use no viable option to, even slightly curb hackers. So lets entice the masses with upcoming maps like were gonna forget about your total lack TRYING something to ease our pain.
By doing nothing, it's encouraging the masses to play hacked.What a joke. At least I have an option to play on servers where I might actually have the ability to assess my skill level on a fair playing ground.

Props to [pde]paulkersey for taking the time to SPELL it out for the newbs to the MW3 Multiplaying world. Totally clueless on how to enable Dedicated Server. I saw something in Steam but it was all Tactical Crouch and Sniper Only which makes absolutely no sense to me. Why with a game like this would one want to crouch around the map the whole time. Rhetorical obviously.
