Who cares if you took the game back or not, its your loss for not giving them the time to fix something you spent your own money on, and for being immature and impatient. NO GAME IS EVER PERFECT ON RELEASE, EVER, IN THE HISTORY OF GAMING. If you can find one title, that I can't find a single complaint about then I will take that back....good luck doing so.

I agree with what you say about the maps, they are very random and not very structured. Very run and gun. But i love unlocking stuff and tryin em out

Both good games so i'm not going down the fanboy route but BF3 maps are more structured and you can work out what route you are going to take, a couple of maps are a bit too big, but you can spawn on your squad which helps.

Cool, one less whiney punk. Sorry but I stopped at "you can barely see anyone....".  BULLSHIT!  I think anyway, haha. This is the first cod I've played where I can readily identify a target with ease while running full blast through a map. They actually did an outstanding job with the lighting. Not saying maps are perfect, but much better color and lights for target acquisition. I've had nothing but **** tons of fun playing so far. My stats suck but I could care less as I'm having fun and they get me nothing outside the game in the real. You want to leave on day two?  Have at it. Maybe I'll see you in Black Ops with my kids.

I find it peculiar that (for the most part) the only people agreeing are those registered today with 10- posts.

Maps can be fixed with this crazy concept called a map pack. By returning MW3, you lost $20 (Gamestop guarantees $30 in-store credit for new releases such as MW3) which could have been spent on a map pack to fix your complaints. Or perhaps waiting at least 48 hours to see if, crazy concept here again.. There might be a patch coming out!

I can almost guarantee that once there's a map pack (perhaps earlier, you'll give into peer pressure), you'll be buying MW3 yet again for $55 (an extra $25, because you just got $30 for it after buying it for $60 the first time), $15 for the map pack ($40 total).
So you'll have the same experience as buying it and waiting a little bit, except you'll be missing an extra $40 that you could have saved by not trading it in for 50% credit.

Chances are, your mom bought the game for you, because anyone who works hard for their money wouldn't just hand someone $30 because they threw a hissy fit the day after release and expected it to be a godsend.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reportedly sold 9.3 million copies on launch day according to VG Chartz.

The Xbox 360 version made up for 54% of the copies, which made it the first game on one platform to top 5 million on one day. The PlayStation 3 version shared 42%, with the PC and Wii having the remaining 4%.

Modern Warfare 3 sales are up 30% over last year’s title Black Ops, and a 55% increase over Modern Warfare 2.
