When you mean "limited" and "hardcore" edition, I'm assuming you mean the "Hardened" and "Prestige" edition.
Yes, they are both different things as the Prestige edition will come with whatever's in Hardened Edition plus some toy (I presume)

When you think about the 1 year membership with COD Elite Premium included in the Hardened Edition, doesn't that mean that DLC will be free for you?

Awesome "non-gameplay" elements that Treyarch brought to the franchise that should be in MW3.

1. Weekly, Monthly, and All Time Score Per Minute Leaderboards
2. In-Game Friends List
3. Integrated Party Chat icons (i.e. when you're in an Xbox Live Party Chat, you have the icon indicating this that still let's you know who's actually talking)
4. Emblem creator: Love it or hate it, it's really the only way to give someone a truly unique and one of a kind online identity. I'm still blown away and entertained everyday by the creativity I see in lobbies.
5. Party Members are a different color in the pre/post game lobby. Treyarch introduced this in WaW and I can't believe IW didn't do it in MW2.
