Currently Being ModeratedRe: It doesn't make sense?Seriously good idea- I'm 37 and i can't keep up with the young nippers anymore (my KD is 0.87)
There should just be different lobbies to choose from:
Beginner, Advanced, Expert, Veteran or something like that
No one with a KD higher than 1 would be allowed into beginner, Anyone that gets more than 30 kills in a match is kicked up to the next tier etc...
This could work...

Currently Being ModeratedRe: It doesn't make sense?Age has both its pros and cons for each age group
I am 41 and bought my own TV, Turtle beach, PX21 and DSS I did not need my folks to buy them for me
I am willing to admit there may be flaws in my game play and change mid game or in the lobby for next round to compensate for how the competition is playing
I have more patience in playing and will wait someone out if I get hit moving around map or into room/building (sometimes)
I will not rage quit or dashboard because I am 1 and 6 4 minutes in, I will tough it out and hope to go 15 and 10 but if I don’t I know the world will not end.
I have slower reflexes but can compensate with my gaming style usually
I have seen too many younger gamers trying to 360 quickscope, drop shot etc whatever the newest fad is in the game. I am too old for fads, yeah I use the FAMAS but I will gun you down on the roof of the truck on grid while you try to 360 quickscope someone at the tunnels. I will shoot you as you 360 jump off the rock on jungle trying for that KEWL utube video to show everyone in your clan
Rage quit/dashboard after trash talking in the lobby and getting your ass handed to you by an old man is immature (but I love doing it)
Yelling at your sister to quit watching justin beber videos because she is hogging the band width, telling your mom you homework is done and you don’t want a sammich or listening to your music/TV way to loud blah blah blah I could go on all day
I play the game for fun, sometimes it’s not fun either due to circumstances beyond my control (lag, hit detection etc) or due to things that are my fault (too many beers, tired after a long day etc) but I am mature enough to suck it up and carry on or just get off line and spend some time with the family
Hate to paint everyone with the same brush but this is more often than not the younger crowd on line but also have play with younger people more mature than some of the older ones I have played against too- Report Abuse

Actually that wouldn't work because people riding that 1 k/d would just be bouncing back and forth between the 2. They also already kind of have this system going in the prestige lobbies.- Report Abuse

Currently Being ModeratedRe: It doesn't make sense?First of all, there shouldn't be 15 year olds playing this game (under aged) and secondly - If you get a PC the search is a lot more customizable (Not sure if there's a 40+ server) but I'm sure it would help and you could probably find some 40+ guys to play private matches with to practice or just make it more even, I mean - who cares about your online level?

Currently Being ModeratedRe: It doesn't make sense?COD elite is coming, to answer the first part.
2nd, there already is a relatively efficient matchmaking system in effect. When I join a lobby, lets say FFA, I get players of similar skill level. I win about 1 in 4, and usually rank in the top 3 or 4, KD in the 1's
When I join a friend in session, who rarely plays (and doesn't have much for skills) his lobby is chock full of greenies. Went 30-3 on Launch. 27-2 on Hanoi.
I have another friend, who plays alot of TDM, but has a kdr about .7 but is 4th prestige, if I join his game in session again I get matched against weaker players.
The reason this happens is I am obviously bypassing the matchmaking system.

heres how you solve this problem doesnt matter what time a day you play or whos playing you play one game your normal style and if it ends bad then adjust dont keep to the same way of playing if it doesnt work if there nadeing you hard stay back for the first 15 secs of a map then go if there camping you wait fro them to move or just tube the **** out of them. ppl get mad and i dont get it theres sooooo many diff ways of playing this game also go into private match either by your self or a friend and just run the map and just get a feel for all the diff spots ppl camp and or lay down at so that when you run near those areas its just second nature to look there every time so you dont get stabbed or shot in the back. i think the bigest problem with ools kd ratio is that there not willing to adjust to ensure that they dont just rage quit. but the bigest tip i can give is find something that just totally pisses and frustrates the players on the other team so bad that they just find a new room you alone can decide how ppl play the game
And if every way you try to play doesn't work? What then?
I got to admit, I have very few problems playing PC based games, its the bloody controllers that are the issue. A mouse to target and zoom in is the only way to play, if I had a spare £1k I would buy a gaming computer, but it's a bit over kill to play a game I think!- Report Abuse

No this is a bad idea. The whole point of stats (for those who care) are to show who are the best players (I know they dont always do this, but thats beside the point).
If your idea were implemented then you could have average players with a better KDR than good players simply becauase they are playing worse opposition. Doesn't sound very fair to me.
And that is the exact reason why it doesn't work!
Even the main game have options of difficulty!
You don't see Manchester untied playing swindon Town, why? Because they are matched into leagues of teams with roughly the same degree of skill to make a level and even playing field!
The problem that is present just now is there are a percentage of players who hammer the game and get 30 - 40 kills a game, it completely and totally spoils it for the lessor players, which, lets face it would probably number around 40% of the players. People get bored getting their ass fed to them day in day out. People stop frequenting the game which they bought and don't buy future games.
What YOU have to remember is people PAY GOOD MONEY to play these games and do actually deserve some game play quality. Not to get owned and finish with no kills or ratios of 0.1 etc. Everyone who pays deserves a fair level playing field.- Report Abuse

Totally agree.
If you bounce back and forth between the different grades, to me, that's how it should work anyway. Just as in the real life football leagues where teams are promoted and relegated. It wouldn't effect your game play anyway.
I will add you tonight mate.- Report Abuse

PC is always a better way to go if you can but the loops you have to jump through for computer specs etc just annoys me! I still have Ghost recon 2 lying in the box unused!
I think you kind of miss the point though, its nothing really to do with your online level but your playing abilities being match. I couldn't care about my level online but would far rather I have a more level playing field and enjoy the games more. Rather than having to continually re spawn because I'm too old and slow- Report Abuse
