I understand that its tactics, and I didn't mind as much in MW2...but on BO it was the last straw. Some dude had a hacking program where he wpuld run FULL speed and then drop-shot. We all know well that if you run at full-speed and try to drop-shot, you dolphin dive instead.
This guy never did and pissed everyone off in Ground War..even his own Team-mates. Reason why was the host left and everyone noticed how this guy had like 30 kills while everyone barely had 7. (I checked the team's K/D, they were all 1.9s+ and tthe drop-shotter had like a 4.37 K/D....and he was 2nd prestige which I simply don't believe to be possible.)
Uhm when on tactical it's hard to dolphin dive. Oh and its not that hard dropshot on the run. He could have been a cheat, but I don''t think he was. an Aimbot users usually just shoots ridiculously fast, much like veteran bots, they just know where you are.- Report Abuse

I dropshot, b/c it provides less (Mass) on the screen for someone to aim at and shoot, which means less of a chance for them to kill me, or course it makes a head shot (one shot kill) easier.
Dropshot is just another tactic to play, I use the tactical button layout, so I just use R3 to perfrom dropshots, I don't use the "O" button b/c I don't like to move my finger off of the R3 aim button, so I would rather be able to go Prone than knife with R3. It's whatever you feel you like best, I feel like I can utilize Dropshots more often than knifing someone b/c it's not often you get into a close battle.
And dropshoting is the same concept of someone taking cover behind a barrel or in a building, it's all about giving the other person a harder time to shot you.
Dropshots are awesome. so keep crying, b/c when I get knifed I don't cry about it, I just chose not use it.- Report Abuse

Dropshotters aren't that hard to kill. I dropshot sometimes, and it's harder than it looks. Kind of pointless though

eh dropshots don't bother me at all. they rarely get me. if anything they waste that critical first couple of seconds where i get off a few shots and that just means they will always lose the fire fight. honestly i kill the people trying to dropshot me waaaay more then they kill me. as they drop you are only hitting head/chest so if their aim is off a little you should waste them every time. no problem at all.
i thought dropshotting was for noobs and little kids ? who on earth said it took skill in the first place ?- Report Abuse

Drop shotting takes skill.
To react that quickly in a face to face gunfight, to drop to the deck when there's no cover whilst still shooting at your enemy - takes skill - especially if you're using the G11 or FN FAL, a weapon that isn't fully automatic. Meanwhile the enemy you're shooting at is standing up, out in the open, shooting. So really, who's made the better decision haha? It's a no-brainer.
People only get mad because as they're shooting at someone, if that enemy drops then they don't adjust their aim, they just keep shooting at where the enemy was.
There's a video on youtube about the AK47 and how powerful it is, the bloke using the AK shoots his enemy in the chest (and the enemy drops into last stand - similar position/height on the ground if you drop shot) but the guy with the AK just keeps shooting at the same spot.. he doesn't aim down. And he uses a whole clip. So the bloke who went down has enough time to aim up and pistol this retard. So naturally the guy with the AK rages because this other 'noob' killed him, when in fact the guy with the AK was too stupid just to aim down.
Not everyone who plays CoD is bad, if you want to call me a noob or a cheat because I don't like just standing out in the open during a fire fight - then I don't care. I'll kill you every time
it does not take skill and yeah YOU must be a fan of Quickscoping as well- Report Abuse

What is the "skilled " way to play cod? You can shoot and go down, if done accurately you don''t lose time to hit. It helps me a lot when vsing more than 1 player at the same time.GetUpToGetDown wrote:
