Servers down?

cant connect to the servers anymore???

    I have the same problem.... "The Call of Duty: Black Ops server is unavailable. Please try again later or visit http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/status". I also checked the status and it is Defcon 5 running perfectly fine, so i am really confused.

    Someone please fix this problem! I am one first blood away from getting Marathon Pro!

    What is your VAC Status?
    1) Launch Steam
    2) Select Steam at the top left
    3) Select Settings.
    4) The menu should display you VAC status.

    Well glad it works (This message can also indicate a ban), sounds like it was just some sort of server issue.

    Well, guess what? The problem is back up after playing for like 2 hours... VAC status is still in good standing, im thinking it might be the internet connection but it makes no sense... how could i play for 2 hours and then get the same problem?

    i have th same problem but there's nothing with my internet connection
    now i can connect but when i'm joining a server its says lost connection to the server

    You may want to contact STEAM, and create a trouble ticket.

    I have not been able to get on for days now just refers me to here. says there are over 4000 servers avaialable but there are none at all in the server lists. This is a regular occurence but recently getting worse. Is it a Steam problem?
