You don't need to be up close it is a support roll just like the snipers.

the most underrated gun is the enfield for sure

g11 and the enfield.  the g11 is a one burst and every now and then two burst kill.  You can use almost any perk combination and you will beast with it on.  My highest kd is with the g11.  Definately an underrated game, and might honestly be in the top 3 most powerful in the game.

Enfield has very little recoil, but i think the reason that not many people use it is because of its relatively low damage.  It has the same damage as the famas but a much less rate of fire.  Its accurate and great with a silencer, but really not very good.
