PS3 Freezing up while playing only CoD Black ops

While only playing CoD Black ops, If I press the PS button to accept an invite or read a message my system will freeze and I will have to restart my console. Anyone having the same problem?? Any advice... Please comment. This problem is very irritating

Yep freezes loads in the last week. Have old fat 80gb ps3 - dunno if related. Have experienced ALL complaints regarding the game bored of multiplayer failings. zzz

I have a brand new 250 gig ps3 slim, and it happens to me too sometimes.

Yes, sporadic freezing: at main menu, in lobby, right before start of match on mp, etc. (I have slim).

Also, if I'm in lobby after pressing ps button and even leave it alone (let alone scroll to friends, send message, etc.), screen will eventually get twitchy -> letters on screen turn to gibberish -> freeze my ps3.

Not since socom such a glitchy game, though I still have faith in Trey/BO and do enjoy the game.

yeah black ops freezes everytime i leave a match, and everyone is returned to the lobby. had to go to gamestop to get a new copy because it wouldnt recognize the disk anymore, not gonna play it until treyarch releases a patch. luckily the disc stopped working within the 7 day return policy.

yep mine freezes up too. something is bad wrong with ops is all I got to say.
