Why Is Sniping So Hard, In Mw2.

OK, i know this is Black ops. Im discussing this becuz, THERE ARE SNIPER IN BO, i know im stating the obvious...

1) Assualt riffle kill TOO fast at far range, too accurate, VERY little recoil. EVEN SMG are the same.
<Wrong Concept Of Mw2->ADS=100% accuracy.
2) Too much Sway when not steadying. I know some will disagree, but yes it is TOO much. I know we can steady it but we can only do it for a while and once in every 2 sec after "un-steadying". This let alot player unable to aim for a precise headshot, to 1HitKill.
3) IW think sniper 1HitKill 100% is OP so they make Bolt-Action possible to 2 shot1kill EVEN when it is a chest hit.
4) NO CAMP SPOT COUNTED GOOD AT ALL.
<Map Camp spot-> Good camp spot have only a few, so player remember and keep a look-out everytime they pass by.
5) Map have alot of blockage like high building. VERY little open area with cover for sniper.
6) Damage view kick is TOO much.
<Supported by "1)"-> equals Gone Case.
7)Assualt riffle have too high Penetration damage which make weak camp spot useless.
Main Summary: Gun either 1HitKill or Shoot Fast for HIGH DVK or Kill Very Fast.

I hope this does not happen in black ops. 4) seems fixed, saw the sniper leaked video. 1) too, the AR have to burst 3-4 time to hit precisely.
What are your opinion?
ps:if you gona talk about Quick Scope is OP or whatever or No Scope OR Sniping is NOT hard at all, then treat this as reference, DO NOT reply useless stuff. TYVM :P

    wtf r u talking about sniping is so easy in mw2compaired 2 waw n cod4 r u high or summit ?

    1st i said reply to the thread, flame with ur eyes.
    Second i said IN Mw2 NOT COMPARE TO UR FREAKING COD4. I dint say that for a reason, i only had Mw2 so LOOK before you flame or you'd make a fool out of yourself.

    EDIT: NowADay people dont read and reply with eyes hmmm... And yes im talking about PC where everyone reaction and sight is better than those who dont reply with eyes.

    Sniping is simple in MW2, whenever im getting wrecked, i pull out my sniper to comeback. Ive gotten 5 nukes in mw2 (im not bragging or anything, but yeah i am proud of that, and 2 of them were with the 5-9 nuke setup) and all my nukes were with a sniper. If sniping is hard on MW2, especially with slight of hand pro and steady aim, then the bottem line is.....

    ..go to the bottem line....





    ...a little bit lower......






    you have no business playing FPS.

    About the too much sway part. I disagree, but if you really think that there's too much sway, then use steady aim pro. Also, about the assault rifle part, only a few weapons can actually kill you with ease at a far distance, the ACR, maybe the ump, and the burst weapons. The intervention actually is a one hit kill on the chest, and with stopping power you can OHK them in the waist too. Chances are you are shooting a moving hostile and you end up shooting their arm. About the maps, there's a few maps that were basically made for sniping such as Derail, Wasteland, and Fuel.

    I know my reasoning is flawed by other factors, but I'm just replying to your points.

    Learn how to snipe there Op. And stop running around thinking your sniper rifle is an assault rifle.

    Your title made me laugh so hard. Sniping in MW2 is a joke. Automatic sniper rifles, auto aim, hit detection, all a joke. you want a challenge Sniping, play WaW.

    No, he means actual sniping, not quick scoping, where Sleight of Hand Pro doesn't really help. Most ARs and some SMGs own snipers at any range, and the maps don't support camp sniping.

    i disagree with almost all that uve said...but the assault rifles are TO powerful but...if u become good @ sniping in mw2 then ur invicible...
    now how is that so???
    well...if you good at quickscopin then theres ur short\long-ish shot, then theres hardscopin...the no scopin is to inacurate to be so called "good" or even "great," but if you learn the technique then its all good...
    and then u have ur seconddary weapons which give u another advantage so..ya
    but to hard in mw2!
    no cod4 is hard-ish, but nononoo just practice, practice, practice.... then MWWHHHHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!world domination!

    Sniping so easy in the CoD series. (not only MW2)
    If you want some decent sniping play BFBC2. Now that is sniping.

    Is there any recoil? From what I have seen recoil doesn't exist in MoH. Hell even MW2 seems to have more recoil.      :shock:

    It depends on where is the server located, and to which one you get connected. I believe there is no dedi in Germany !?

    Well that is just stupid. At least BO has servers in Germany and also one in Amsterdam. I stick with XBOX but that is good to know.

    Yeah true sniping is way to hard in COD6. COD5 sniping is perfect. It's not that hard, not that easy and realistic.

    I don't snipe, but in the Infinity Ward Forums quite a lot of people did say "sniping" was hard.

    OP, sniping is generally a waste of time on TDM. There are few good spots, and the action is too fast-paced. Obviously, getting a Nuke with sniper-only after getting pwned repeatedly isn't likely to happen in a TDM: the score and time limits would both expire.
    The ACOG is fairly useless: nice smudge on the optics.
    MLC makes it harder, especially with the lag. The 1/2 second delay in updates may or may not be an asset, depending on which side of the clock registered your shot.
    CoD4 gave you all the time in the world to take your shot. CoD5 left you very few places to camp. MW2 makes it difficult to camp unless the opposing team is a group of morons.

    You need to have the right map, the right spot(s), and the right team. Camping in the wrong corner of Overgrown won't get you a shot. You'll be overrun or off all alone. You need to support your team, or, at least, play around them. Even if you don't want them to dictate your style, they're still playing.
