i didnt say contracts were like challenges. what im saying is have it like 1st prestige you get contracts that help with guns. 2nd prestige contracts for perks. 3rd prestige contracts for wins. 4th for game modes. 5th for kills. 6th challenges. and so on. either that or do all those but as you prestige the contracts require more like say 1st prestige contract get 10 kills using sleight of hand. 2nd prestige get 20 kills using sleight of hand and so on

Preety good idea. What about on the first prestige you get 10% more cp from games and contracts and it could go up to 140% for prestige 14 which is nearly triple the oringinal amount. Well you should get a lot for getting to prestige 14. What you Guys Think??

The addition of weapons is a bit wishful thinking, the addition of new killstreaks or perks would make more sense. The devs use all relavent guns to the time frame in the game already, whether they be actual army issue or enemy issue style weapon or something that may have been a proto type then, for the most part THEY TRY TO INCLUDE EVERYTHING of course some weapons are overlooked though, in all reality, you may prestige to be completely disappointed and never use that weapon thus making you not want to prestige next time in fear of another trash weapon. but after other players advance further than you, you will hear gamers speaking in lobbies about their rewarded guns and what they are, and if they are or aren't any good, thus eliminating the element of surprise. I could see where you would wanna go with this, but no. it wouldn't work. with the customization being emphasized so much and your ability to be so unique from everyone else in the CoD universe, I think being rewarded with a growing amount of CP every prestige would lead to a much higher prestige rate in players and it would not fail gameplay as much, yes you may have unlocked your favorite things before but maybe that next prestige CP bonus would help you to unlock everything, LITERALLY everything. IDK its just some sort of reward for players, better than nothing, and better than a weapon.

I'm going to have to say if my idea isn't considered the best, than this one should be cuz it would also lead to the same sort of thing I was aiming at just in a different method. Good idea though. I like it. I give em both thumbs up, treyarch could do either, I'd be satisfied.

It's not 1st Prestige Lv 14.

Vahn stated that there will be a special something for hitting max prestige. What else could it be besides the infamous Gold camo?

You are sadly mistaken its not hitting max prestige its unlocked when you reach 1st prestige lvl 14, the special something for hitting the max has never been out for public view. and if you dont understand then Gold CAMO at Prestige 1 when you REACH Lvl !4

why give an added incentive for prestiging? its your choice and if someone doesnt want to then fine by me. i have work, class, friends, and a girlfriend so if i dont prestige think of this, it may take me a lot longer to get back up to the top level than you because of me not being able to play as much.

and by the way im so sick and tired of you idiots saying you get gold at prestige 14. it clearly says prestige level 14. that means 1st prestige level 14. they had the exact same thing in mw2 with some of their titles that would unlock at prestige level 14 and 29 ( dont flame if those arent the right numbers, i cant remember). mw2 had 10 prestiges so how could you unlock something at 14th or 29th prestige? its set up the same in BOps.

SUGGESTION!: in black ops, their is so much customization and time treyarch focused toward that aspect of the game, so why not when you prestige you are rewarded with say 2500 CP. a fairly nice start on your next prestige toward weapons, camos, perks and killstreaks once those features unlock at certain levels since you will be playing, you will also be adding more CP. BUT DON'T JUST STOP AT FIRST PRESTIGE, NO NO NO, instead stack the amounts as you move further through prestige. FOR EXAMPLE, for going third prestige you get the 1st prestige CP reward, and 2nd prestige CP reward, and the 3rd CP reward also, allowing for maximum customization the further you progress through multiplayer experience.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK????

Because Vahn confirmed that it wasn't 5, nor 10 prestiges. What else would it be? And how does it 'clearly' define what it's saying? It doesn't. But the odds of Gold being unlocked at max prestige, which seems to be 14, is highly likely.
