And lots more....
Sometimes I feel like the world is coming to an end when I see just how many American's completely butcher their native tongue. (I am American, despite my flag.)

I think we all know there aren't very many people who post in the Off Topic area. This thread would fall on deaf ears. I knew this thread wouldn't last long, I just needed to get my point across.

Wow its called typing. Were not gonna type you're way, we can type what ever we want. Anyways, who made you the grammar police commander and chief?
(The mistakes in this post was made purposely.)
Hi their! I like they're hair... Sue me, but I don't think having bad grammar is a crime.

You also know that nobody will listen here either. I dont care too much about the grammar on this website, since it is not anything important. Just keep it to black ops stuff here though. Black Ops information > Off Topic information to be on the front page.

People don't tend to concentrate on their grammar on the internet. It doesn't bother me.

Who cares what you think? No one gives a sh*t about a retard's opinion.

Glad I'm not the only one who's not liking the improper grammar.
Come on. If you use bad grammar and spelling, what you write will be hard to understand. Granted, this doesn't happen most of the time, but for the people who are new and barge in typing like elementary students and are really on a middle to high school level, it's just ridiculous. Half the people here don't act their age.
And granted, I understand that it's quicker to type in acronyms and abbreviations and other stuff like that, but at least have some patience to write in an intelligable way.
People, please.

It's inappropriate to criticise* people about their grammar, maths, or any other TAUGHT ability.
I.e. each individual's knowledge of grammar, maths etc is a combination of:
1. School
2. Teachers (how many of us have switched off on a subject due to a dull and/or incompetent teacher? - Plenty)
3. Parents (who in turn are the product of whatever random standard of schooling/teachers etc they recieved)
From professional writers - yes - poor grammar is inexcusable.
However, the capability of the rest of us to do anything is only as good as the tuition that we have been given.
If people use their/they're/there incorrectly because they believe it be correct, because they have never been taught otherwise, is that their fault?
Do they deserve your criticism and SARCASM?!?!
....* this is the correct spelling of 'criticise' in real English English ;-)
My grammar isn't perfect, but I do try to get it as correct as possible. The reason for this is, if you use proper gramar, then people will take you more seriously and have more respect for you...
It's a shame that you have come on here and offered help to those that are either too lazy, or incapable through ignorance and havejust been attacked for it rather than thanked...
A sign of the times maybe?
