How many map packs will MW3 have?

I know there will be 20 DLCs, but that's not all maps. I just wanted to know if there was any info released about how many map packs will it have? Someone told me there will be 4 map packs, but I haven't found anything online regarding that.

There will be guns, multiplayer maps, spec ops missions, camos, and more for DLC.

  We'll be using that information to introduce even more game modes and playlists to players, so not only are you getting new content, maps and weapons that players want, but also a heap of ongoing new content well after launch.

20 pieces of DLC means 20 maps split into 4 map packs. There wont be DLC guns but there will be new game modes, spec ops stuff, missions for either campaign or traditional spec ops, and more, but those don't count as "pieces" - thats just maps.

  i thought there will be monthly dlc's for a 9 month period starting 3 months into the game.

    That will be the case for Elite Premium members. The DLC will be split up for the paid members and put in dlc packs for non premium members. Also 20 peices does not mean each map, it means each download. The 20 Pieces statement was for the premium 9 month spread. There will be more than just maps.

Also, the head of Activision is the one who stated there would be 4 map packs.

I can guarantee at least 3, but possibly 4.

The "20" may refer to Elite Premium members getting monthly content.

only map packs i got was plazza,libration, thats 2 map pack wheres the other 2
