Is it me or do a majority of these replies want to drastically reduce features in this game?  No this, no that...  There needs to be options for all players of all skill levels or else you have built yourself a very one demensional game.

Which of these need to go?

He's asking what needs to be removed.

Perks like Last Stand, Martyrdom, Commando, Stopping Power, and Juggernaut are not "options", they're crutches.  They make everyone pick the same class, over and over, on every map.

    CoD4:
    M16
    Frag x3
    Stopping Power
    Martyrdom

    W@W:
    MP40
    Betties x2
    Juggernaut
    Steady Aim

    MW2:
    Rifle Grenade Launcher
    One Man Army
    Danger Close
    Commando

These almighty dominant classes make for stale gameplay.  "Addition by subtraction", if you've ever heard the phrase, is basically what Treyarch is aiming for here.  They want to know what perks players feel are unfair or overpowered to improve the Black Ops experience.

Besides, Treyarch probably has new perk ideas that they want to implement to replace the older, broken perks that players want removed.

I tried to work my perks around all levels of skill and incorporate fast paced team based gameplay.

it seems so...IMO they should only left out the "dumb" perks.

Believe it not, back in days (prior to console taking over COD) thats how it was - very simple setup for weapons and the trick was 'skills'. Players who spent the time were rewarded and newbies had a hard time - but it worked, it was popular. Now, of course more weapons/attachment is preferred, i like them myself, but when it comes to perks i think they are for most just gimmicks. More ammo / sprint / extra loadout is fine but the radar, ninja, commando, silent, martyrdoom and the like have really destroyed was use to be a great gameplay. If anything make them switchable per group or individually for Server Admins / match Host.

These are the perks I like/use.

    Fixed for my taste.

    Take out:

    Juggernaut
    Commando
    One man army
    lightweight
    danger close
    last stand
    Shades
    flamethrower
    fireworks
    gas mask
    double tap
    toss back
    second chance
    fireproof
reconassaince (vehicles in general do not belong in COD PLEASE NOTE THIS!)

and please take out the grenade launchers.

All of those perks that need to be Taken out are either too useless or game breaking.
