If you haven't pre-ordered it, you can GameFly it. If there's a Blockbuster still standing, you may be able to get on the 1st renters list. I imagine a BestBuy might have demo (offline) since they've already got DJ Hero set up at some stores. DJ Hero WTF?
Worse comes to worst, you can sell your copy (keywords LIVE and IN HAND) on eBay, and likely get more than you paid.

Experience points are plural, but the gerund "gaining" is the subject, and it is singular.
