it works well on those who aren't that attentive, it works well if you have a dead body to go prone in. then it just looks like you died to his martyrdom :P
It really depends on a few things. First of all where you play dead has a huge impact. If you are doing it right out in the open it probably won't work. Also if you the enemy player runs his reticule by you it will bring up your name and you will get shot.
There are times for it, pick them right and will help.
When you switch weapons you make a sound. So, right on the dpad for me (I think). You can also spam your knife. Lolz you might get lucky and knife someones foot too (down on dpad for me).

Yes, It does work. Great. All you have to do is climb inside of a dead body in prone and spam the weapon switch button. When your spamming the weapon switch button a glitch happens and your name doesn't appear above you unless the enemy points DIRECTLY at you.
