NO MULTIPLAYER DATA ON ELITE

I installed the latest patch, played a game on Standoff, had fun spamming my Remmington all around, went to see how many Bloodthirsties i need to have Gold, only one, when i arrive at work went to elite to tweek some things on my classes and it says i don't have any multiplayer data for BO 2, WTH?????

It was working fine this morning, does anyone have this problem too?

1st clan to reach level 50 on PS3. No justice

Well, I would like to report that on PS3, we have our first level 50 clan on BO2. This clan has no championship badges, 3 silver badges for challenges ( they have gold badges for the rest ), and is missing badges from operations. If a clan was to earn every gold badge possible in operations and challenges the projected date to reach level 50 would be some time in the beginning of July. I would like to state that this clan has done nothing wrong, this is the result of ELITE providing this clan with double clan xp and unexplained clan xp. Personally, I am not happy with this since my clan has to play for another 5.5 weeks to achieve level 50. No justice at all. Sorry guys, just venting out my frustration on the system.

UPDATE: a representative ( DEV ) from Beachhead ( samprotagonist ) is currently on the forums supporting and answering our issues. He is addressing issue by issue. I will update the issues he has addressed under each issue.

1- Please provide this community with an ACTIVE and RESPONDING group that can help us fix issues. Just asking us questions and passing them on to the appropriate parties is not enough. This active and responding group needs to be able to actually do something to help this community. Using Twitter for assistance should not be an option. It's a poor choice of communication since you can only fit so many characters. This forum should be one of your main sources.

Issue has been addressed, a representative ( DEV ) from Beachhead ( samprotagonist ) is currently on the forums supporting and answering our issues. The

2- The clan roster displays BO1 emblems next to the clan members name. Why ? BO1 never had any formal clans, just a test. If anything it should display MW3 emblems next to the clan members names. Better yet display BO2 emblems.

Issue has been addressed by ( samprotagonist ) This is not working as intended. It's being investigated currently and unless there's a significant technical reason to the contrary should be resolved.

3- When you go to Clan SHOWCASE and click on a completed clan operation it will display the wrong statistics next to the clan members name. The clan members name and the total kills or confirms do not match. They belong to another clan member. Actually the clan members name does not even appear, the clan members BO1 emblem appears next to the wrong total kills or confirms. This issue started on the last month of MW3 and still has not been resolved, it just got worse. ( This issue has been corrected to some degree but I suggest make improvements )

Issue has been addressed by ( samprotagonist ) The issue with members' icons is being looked into in parallel with item #2, however the data associated with each member's performance in an operation is in need of further investigation. I'll provide an update once I have one.

4- No clan titles to select for BO2 once a clan reaches level 5. This issue is part ELITE ( no option but MW3 titles ) and part TREYARCH ( no calling card for clans to select from in barracks ) There needs to be a menu selection to select clan title display as there was in MW3.

Issue has been addressed by ( samprotagonist ) There are no plans for this to happen in Black Ops 2, and this may be a recurring theme for a few of your questions. Yes, these are features that people liked but wasn't considered a high priority for ELITE this year, so won't be added (due to the need to change not only ELITE but Black Ops 2 as well). That said, I have made the team aware of the interest in this, and other similar features for consideration in future updates.

5 - Clan tags, there needs to be a menu like MW3 to select clan tag. It should display the clan tag as it is on ELITE. Currently BO2 does not allow characters in the clan tag. ELITE allows us to have characters in our clan tag yet BO2 does not allow us to display them. By having a menu to select clan tag the characters issue is resolved. ( While this issue is a Treyarch issue, there NEEDS to be better communication between Beachhead studio and Treyarch )

Issue has been addressed by ( samprotagonist ) As with #4 above, this feature wasn't included in the game this year and for similar reasons won't be added. Once again however I have added it to a future wish list.

6- No rewards posted yet for reaching certain levels on BO2. No double xp rewards nor clan emblems. Also there is a huge gap between level 30 and 50. I find it hard to believe you have no rewards. This only tells me you are not finished with ELITE for clans in BO2. ( The unlocks or rewards have all been removed, please update us with what you are planning on doing ) Beachhead, did you give up on us?

Issue has been addressed by ( samprotagonist ) This isn't a case of us giving up on you guys (a nice way to word it), more that it wasn't considered to be a key feature this year. When ELITE shifted from a premium service to a free one some of the premium features were made universally available while others were not. Whether the balance was right here or not is of course debatable but I think it's fair to say that every ELITE clan would like to see more rewards as they level up, so again this is one for the future wish list.

7- All clan comments on MW3 disappeared when elite ( PC ) was upgraded for BO2. A fix needs to take place to bring those back. Also there needs to be an option to provide leaders with the capability to DELETE comments.

UPDATE:

The comments section has completed disappeared for both PS3 and XBOX clans. This is not a web browser issue, this is an Elite issue that needs to fixed.

Issue has been addressed by ( samprotagonist )This isn't a bug and as such won't be fixed in the sense that the clan wall/clan comments will return. This was removed from ELITE in order to develop a better system for clan communications, and while I'm not able to explain exactly what that is right now we're confident you'll like the change. Unfortunately this means that older conversations are gone, which isn't ideal, but the new system should more than make up for it. As ever, once there's more information on this point I'll let you guys know.

8 - Do not allow all clan members to enlist in clan operations or challenges. A better idea is allow there to be a co leader. Also adding an AUTO enlist feature that can be disabled by the leader would help out.

9 - Create some kind of a messaging system so the clan leader can message all clan members. Maybe a messaging system from Elite ? Don't know, but it's time Beachhead starts getting creative with this issue. Also a messaging system needs to be created so a clan leader can send messages to people who apply to his/her clan.

10 - Elite is automatically enlisting in clan operations. I have tracked this and no one is enlisting in my clan. For example, 2 clan operations show up, within 12 hours one of them will get AUTO enlisted and then about 12 hours later the next one will get AUTO enlisted. We need a fix for this issue.

11 - Many people are still having issues with the ELITE website. Unable to view applications, invite members to the clan, unable to kick members from the clan, members unable to leave a clan, and unable to view clan operations and challenges. The people who are not able to use the full functionality of your ELITE website have tried several browsers including CHROME. They have also cleared web browser history and cache. They have also updated JAVE and ADOBE Flash.

12 - There needs to be a way to UNenlist from clan operations and challenges. If someone new joins your clan and you want them to count, you need to be able to unenlist from the operations and challenges and then enlist again.

13 - Message of the day that appears in Elite needs to also appear at the bottom of the clan members menu in BO2. This option was available in MW3 and was very helpful for leaders to post the daily challenge/operation for that day as a reminder. This is a Treyarch issue but Beachhead needs to communicate with Treyarch to add this option back.

14 - Several clans have received championship clan XP when they didn't even earn the badge. Many clans are not receiving the badges they won for completed clan operations or challenges. Also several clans are receiving double clan xp for challenges. There is no rhythm or logic to this except the fact that Elite is messed up.

15 -There also needs to be a leader board system that displays the clan that won the championship badge. The leader board should also display the rest of the clans and where they placed. The clan operations need to be monitored and reviewed.

16 - Clans that boost during clan operations need to be dealt with. You need to start deranking or banning clans that violate the rules.

17 - The clan operation badge displayed in the showcase should show the EXACT number of clans that PARTICIPATED and not the ones that enlisted.

18 - Time and Date of a clan operation/challenge should also appear on it's page when opened.

19 - In the show case, operations display a blue measuring line under each players name. It is not accurate nor functional. Either remove it or fix it.

20 - Elite Notifications for clan leaders. Notifications should notify you when someone joins the clan and leaves the clan. Also when comments are posted on Elite a notification should show.

21 - Time zone setting should be part of the profile account setup on Elite.

22- Clan operations and Clan challenges should be displayed in their own sections when you click on COMPETITIONS. Now they are all mixed together and unorganized. When they redesigned elite, they had a menu system to select operations or challenges, then they removed it. Bring it back.

23 - Allow clan operations and challenges to be played in Core or Hardcore modes. Currently it is working this way, however make it official and post it in the description.

24- Some clan leaders are having an issue with the clan emblem. When in edit mode it displays another clan's emblem and not the clan emblem created by the leader. Also while you are at it, add more layers and options to emblem editor.

25 - Many clans are having members NOT count in operations and challenges. These members have been enlisted BEFORE the clan operation or challenge started.

26 - Major issue that needs to be addressed with the tallying of kills and confirms in operations and challenges. Many clans will have a member or 2 that is awarded thousands of kills or confirms for which they did not earn. This is an Elite glitch, it is not players cheating or boosting. It is affecting who receives the championship badge. It is also affecting clans that really didn't qualify for their status in an operation or challenge.

27 - Some peoples gamer id will display as UNKNOWN in the clan roster. I have even seen people apply to my clan where their gamer id is UNKNOWN. Those people have tried leaving the clan and rejoining it. They have also tired unlinking their account and relink it and it still does not fix this problem. This issue needs to be fixed.

28 - Leaderboards for clans on Elite have not updated in over 2 months for the XBOX users. PS3 was working fine but recently stopped updating as well.

Update: PS3 leaderboards are working again but not completely. Some clans are not even on the leaderboards. When they click the tier their clan is in it states ( clan not found )

The leaderboards need to be fixed.

29 - Unable to pull up certain people on ELITE. Premium or not, you can not search their name and pull them up to invite them to a clan or even view their stats. I was able to pull these people up in the past, now I can't.

30- Provide clan leaders with the power to administer MW3 emblems. Some people still join a clan and deceive the clan leader just to get all the MW3 emblems and then leave. If you provide the leader with the power to administer the emblems when he wants to it will cut down drastically on this situation. This should not be hard to do since you gave the leader the power to administer the double xp earned by reaching certain clan levels in MW3.

31- The leaderboard for a Challenge or Operation needs to be updated. Getting LIVE updates would be extremely helpful so clans know where they are. If LIVE update is not an option then a modification needs to take place. Some clans enlist in challenges and operations but no one in the clan participates. If that is the case then it should show ( 0 ) next to each members name. Now it just shows the message " Your clan's leaderboard is being constructed "

32 - Dormant ( inactive ) clans need to be removed to free up clan names and clan tags. There are correctly hundreds if not thousands of inactive clans.

Issue has been addressed by ( samprotagonist ) on another thread.

Right now what I do know is that there'll be a legal aspect to a clan's "ownership" of a name and its potential expiry. As it is not something we currently cover (except that we reserve the right to change any clan name, or remove them from the service) explicitly within our Terms of Service we'd need to get some adjustments there before moving forward. While on the one hand we want to make sure that clan names are being camped by inactive players (we also need to define what inactive means), we also don't want to be removing or deleting groups who are just taking a break from the game. There'll be a middle ground somewhere and I'll let you know as we make progress.

BEACHHEAD please fix these issue for all clans.

As many of you out there, I play Call of Duty. It's doesn't matter the console or how I rank as a player. This is about the Call of Duty franchise.

Call of Duty: Elite is an online service created by the Activision subsidiary Beachhead Studios for the multiplayer portion for the first-person shooter video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and then later adapted for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The service features lifetime statistics across multiple games as well as a multitude of social-networking options. Initially the service was for paying subscribers and with a free version also available, the subscription based portion of Elite includes exclusive premium features such as monthly downloadable content, daily competitions with virtual and real life prizes, the ability to level up players' clan, pro analysis and strategies, Elite TV, and more. The service has since became a free service for all.

Now, as a fellow gamer to all of you... My question is why haven't they updated the service? Half the time it doesn't even work, either online (regardless of browser), console or phone. It has tons of errors. I want to use the service but it seems to be a complete waste of time and energy. They even cut out perks of leveling up the clan like "2XP or double experience points", something I know each clan rather enjoyed. Now we get backgrounds for our clan. Whoopie!

All I want is a service that provides the services set forth by Activision and Beachhead, to work. And better perks for ranking up our clan. At least this way the service doesn't become obsolete. Or has it already?

Another thing is... Why does Activision or the game creators like Infinity Ward or Treyarch still allow cheaters (boosters) and lag? I would prefer a region based game play versus a randomized version of connectivity so I don't get some generic connection. I am hard-wired and still get lag. I shouldn't have to "port forward" anything. And then there's the "boosters". The reporting system, quite frankly, sucks. I have seen numerous cheaters, hackers and boosters while playing the next big Call of Duty title and reported them. You know what happens? NOTHING. It's simply ridiculous to think that they simply just made that feature as a comfort to you, the honest gamer.

Now what can we expect from Call of Duty: Ghosts? Probably much of the same thing. Lag and boosters. As well as a service like Elite not to function properly.

One last thing. Why can't the hardcore playlist have the same number of games in the playlist as core players? I feel as a "hardcore gamer" I am limited to those the few choices for which mode I play. Come on, what happened to equality?

ATVIAssist HELP - Invalid Clan XP

Here's a breakdown of some odd Clan Data for COD Elite. I have analyzed the top 13 Xbox and Playstation clans to evaluate how much XP is attributed to clan competitions and how much is unexplained. Based on this I can show that there are some clans that have received enormous amounts of extra XP putting them many levels above where they should be.

To be clear, some amount of unexplained XP can be valid. For example, they could have awarded every clan with 500 XP due to a canceled competition. Either way, that amount should be quite small (less than 3K most likely). You will notice below that there are some clans that have over 40,000 XP that does not match up with any clan competition. These are the ones that I'm concerned with.

It appears that the Playstation has been plagued by this much more than the Xbox. The top 9 clans on the Playstation all have between 21,000 and 42,000 extra XP than they should.

Looked at my challenges on Elite and noticed that some are not registering. Career Wins, Career Headshots to name a few. They show at 0% completed. I've got over 30K kills right now. I'm missing a ton of XP from the challenges.

Clan management not working

I have a clan of 34 members and a lot of the players are not active. I would like to remove these players from the roster but I am not able to. I keep receiving error messages everytime I try to view my roster. I have tried multiple outlets. (Tablet app, phone app, multiple browsers via pc, and the console app. ) Has anybody had this problem recently and if so were you able to fix it. Thanks in advance.

Clan names and availability

I know this was brought up in the past but I'm gonna bring it up again. Clan names for those that created clans back in mw3 have 2 members or whatever there membership is and have yet to rank up due to inactivity. Should they be allowed to keep the clan name ? I'm not saying take a clans name away if they reached max level or are active, I'm asking that if these clans have shown no activity for quite some time can these names be released and go back into the clan name pool. Gotta wonder how many of these actually forgot they made a clan back when mw3 came out. So to make this clear , I'm only asking about clans that have not leveled up and have had no clan activity.

Was just fiddling around with my profile and noticed the status of the Elite Subscrition is still there. Tells me that my subscription is premium and the expiration date is expired. You think it just hasn't been removed because they didn't get to it or maybe there's still a reason for it being there? Like a future subscription.

Are there any players that joined Elite recently that can tell me what their Elite info says? Click your profile and then overview. Its listed beneath your personal info.

Changing Clan Emblem on Elite

Xbox platform go to lightweight clans under clan level is it a glitch ? How I the world did they get level 50 looking in there showcase shows champions 10000 point for a clan challenge ? Also look at how many accolades it took for each challenge to get tier 3 plus the amount of points they received for each. I truly hope it's a glitch with elite and not a hack.

When I go to my profile and select link your facebook account i accept the linking process but when i look at the status for the completion of my profile it says to link my facebook. I dont know what it going on. When I click on link my YouTube account and i accept it under my YouTube account it goes back to my profile and say that the YouTube account is not accociated with google and i keep on trying over and over and i even tried making a new profile and that doesn't work. I dont know if i am doing something wrong or what but i dont know what is going on. If you can help please comment thxs.

How exacly are clan operations ranked...?

My clan is very tiny right now and I'm usually the only one who tries for the operations, so I get pretty low socores... BUT; this weekend I believe I was meant to get a silver rank, but got a bronze instead so... how does it work?

Here're the results from all 4 operations I participated in (kill confirmed and team deathmatch kills):

17 confirms -> 9675 of 20952 Clans -> 9675/20952 = 46% -> BRONZE... OK

115 kills -> 7501 of 25372 Clans -> 7501/25372 = 30% -> BRONZE... OK

41 confirms -> 5410 of 20839 Clans -> 5410/20839 = 26% -> BRONZE... OK

215 kills -> 4161 of 22693 Clans -> 4161/22693 = 18% -> BRONZE... WTF?!? Shouldn't this be SILVER?

So.... I'm either wrong and the HIGHER number = better (which doesn't make much sence, but OK) or I'm missing some criteria... or I really did get the wrong medal...?

Solutions and Answers for issues with Elite Clans

Elite for clans unfortunately is not being maintained properly ( not at all ) and there are lots of issues with no resolutions. However, below I have complied a list of issues that I have found solutions for and I hope they will help some people. If any of you have come across any solutions to existing problems or new problems then please post them and I will add them.

1 - My clan is level 10 or higher, why is my clan tag not gold?

- You must type your clan tag exactly as it appears in Elite into BO2. Once you do that, you will have to exit the game, then reload the game and your clan tag will be gold. Please keep in mind BO2 does not allow characters in clan tags. If your clan tag in Elite has characters in it then it must be changed in Elite.

2 - My Gamer Id appears as UNKNOWN in Elite.

- Delink your account in Elite. Then Relink your account in Elite. This should solve the problem.

3 - My emblem in Elite is not the same emblem that I have made in BO2. Also my emblem appears as a first rank officer ( green arrow )

- The emblem that appears next to your name is the emblem from BO1. It does not display your emblem from BO2 or MW3. The only way you can change it is by changing in BO1. Same thing with the green arrow. In some cases even after you change in BO1 it still appears as a green arrow. Unfortunately that is a problem with Elite.

4 - I am not able to View my clan in Elite, unable to make changes in Elite, unable to enlist in operations and challenges, etc. In general this is usually an issue with your PC. Try the following

- Clear all Cookies on your PC

- Use Chrome for a web browser

- Update Java and Flash on your PC

If the above does not work then try the following

- Delink your account in Elite. Create a new account in Elite using a new email address. Then Link your gamer id to the new account created.

5 - I am not able to leave my clan. I get an error " oops something went wrong "

- This has to be one of the biggest issues that there is with no real solution to. Few people have had success but all with different ways. I will list all the ways below and hope one of them will help you.

- Ask your clan leader to kick you from the clan

- Try removing your self from the clan from Elite via PC and Console

If steps above don't work then try the following

- Make sure ALL your information is filled out completely in Elite ( name, address, etc.) do not leave any blanks. If you can, link facebook and youtube. Then try to leave the clan

If step above does not work then try the following

- Delink your account in Elite, Create a new account in elite using a new email address, then link the new account to your gamer id. Then try to leave the clan

If the step above does not work then try the following

- Keep trying to leave the clan, keep pressing the leave button ( 1 member in the forum did this over 100 times before it worked ) worth a shot

- See if another clan will send you an invite and try accepting the invite. If it does not work then have them send another invite but leave it there for a few days then try to accept it and see if this works

Unfortuantley there is no easy solution to this problem.

6 - I want to buy Premium so I can rank up my clan

- You can not buy premium any more. They stopped selling premium last year. There is nothing you can do at the moment to help rank up a clan on MW3. However it is free for BO2 and premium is not needed. Also you do NOT need the season pass to rank up your clan in BO2. Again, Elite is free.

7 - Where are my clan titles for BO2, my clan is way past level 10

- Clan titles ( calling cards ) are not available for BO2. Treyarch did not implement them into the game.

8 - I am a clan leader and I am not able to kick one of my clan members out of the clan

- I am not aware of any solution for this problem. However, see if that member can follow the steps in solution # 5

9 - One of my clan members did not count in the challenge or operation

- The clan member has to be in the clan before the challenge or operation is enlisted. If they were in the clan before you enlisted then contact ATVIAssist via twitter. You may also contact them in this forum but make sure your title asks for ATVIAssist's help.

10 - My clan participated in a challenge or operation and we did not get our badge or clan XP

- Wait 48 hours, some times there is a delay in posting of the reward. If 48 hours pass by and you still did not receive your reward then do the following

- Contact ATVIAssist via twitter ( You may also contact them in this forum but make sure your title asks for ATVIAssist's help. )

- Fill out a form on Activisions support web site for missing badge and xp

11 - The comments section for my clan in Elite has disappeared.

- No your clan was not hacked. Your comments section was not removed because you got in an argument with a fellow clan member. It has been removed from all clans on both PS3 and XBOX. Your solution for communication between your clan is to either create a website or use social media such as facebook and twitter until this issue gets resolved.

12 - I am unable to search for someone on Elite so I can invite them to my clan

- The search feature does not work properly. It is a known issue.

- You can have them search your name and click on your clan tag and have them apply

- Have them search your clan name on Elite and have them apply

- Copy a link of your Elite clan page and forward it to that person. Maybe put that link on your web site, facebook, twitter, etc.

13 - Elite is not displaying the correct time for challenges and operations.

- In Elite go into settings and change the time zone to your time zone. Link is below

14 - Our clan ranking in the operation is wrong ( example: we received Silver but should have received Gold )

- Your clan ranking is based on the number of clans that participated. It is not based on the number of clans that enlisted. The number you see ( ex. 25,000 clans ) is the number of clans that enlisted in the operations, not the number of clans that participated. Unfortunately they have not updated this since last year.

Me and my clan been on Elite since BO2 came out, but we just got serious with the clan operations/challenges and leveling up. So I gave us a new clan name to start fresh. (NOTE:) Our clan name GhoZ was not taken. So a friend of mine said that a clan already claimed the name GhoZ and theirs is GOLD. We'll how's that posssible because that's our clan name. An he told me that any clan name is up for grabs and can be taken until you get it GOLD and that's when you own it. Well I think that is bull****. But is this true?
