Does split screen play XP and challenges count into the main logged in player's ID?

Hi ,

I'm the logged-in player and my bf is playing MW3 (Multiplayer TDM) with me on split screen. But when he gets a challenge completed, it doesn't reflect on my challenges. So where does it go?

I can not find the server in M3. Internet connected, decent speed, steam online. Help me, please.

I was playing TM in COD : MW2 and i connect to a random server. I was playing normally and suddenly the server starts lagging and text appears on my screen. My classnames were changed (see pics) and then the text "Unlocking all challenges 0/100" appears on my screen. I don't want this and so i leave the server but a lot of things unlocked, i didn't want it! All my perks, features, challenges, gunchallenges, emblems and titels are unlocked! So now i can't get XP cause all my challenges are unlocked! Is there anything that I can do about this? I didn't want to unlock all these things, i want to play fair! You can see my barracks in the pic that I play fair and that all the unlocked are cheated by that random hackserver!

Having problems with my clan in Elite

Hello everybody,

I am having problems with elite, i enter to elite website, i enter to the app of elite in ps3 and i cant do anything with my clan. I cant see the roster, i cant change the tittle clan and i cant enter in the section of manage clan. Is very frustrating, please help me.

C4s are awesome! Any M60 tips?

So, today, I was playing tdm in underground, and I ended up doing three c4 kills, and all three kills were near the stairs in the room with the red walls. I think it was the same guy who fell for the c4, lol, and now I find c4 way more fun than betties. Anyways, I want some tips on using the m60 lmg. I just recently unlocked it, and I was amazed at how much ammo it has with scavenger pro on, and it had at least a max of 300 ammo. I find this gun kinda have a bit of recoil, but it's managable, and the iron sights aren't as bad as people say it is. The damage on the m60 isn't bad either. It's got the hightest damage out of all the lmgs and ars. This gun is one of the best guns I've used in terms of ammo, fire rate, and damage. The fire rate is moderately slow, making it harder to miss enemies, since it fires in small bursts rather than fast bursts. The most disappointing gun for me was the ak47, despitethe fact that it's supposed to be the best gun, according to the us military. The recoil was so bad, and the fire rate was so slow, that I decided to quit using. I'd rather use the m60 or type95 instead. This is the same reason why I also hated the cm901, cause the type95 has the same damage, but with lower recoil. Besides, the cm901 is overused, and I hate overused guns. So anyways, are there any good tips on how to effectively use the m60? It feels like using a sentry gun, since it almost feels like you have unlimited ammo. Thnx!

My account has been reseted. I would like to know why, since nobody from support spoke to me nor i got any notifications of why this could happen. Im hoping this is some kind of glitch. I never boosted nor cheated. And i know a lot of hackers who are ruining the game. And if i got reseted for some stupid reason, maybe you guys should start banning people who are actually ruining the game. Thank you for your time. Hope i get an answear.

I've got few questions considering Cod mw3, and im hoping to get answers since activision support is hopeless with these things. And yes i've tried to contact them also.

-Why is there no clan ops / challenges for MW3 at the moment? (only few BO II events also)

-Another question is that how come i havent received any of the emblems when leveling up my clan so far?

-I hear rumours that current premium memberships in MW3 will turn into free memberships in future, is this true? and will all be able to do clan ops / challenges then in the clan?

Tips on using root shield/skorpion

So, I just got my skorpion to lvl 3, and I 'm trying to get more kills with it so that I can unlock akimbo for it. I just wanna know if combining the skorpion with a riot shield is a good class to use. I've been using the riot shield to get close to enemies while resisting enemy fire, and when I got close enough, I would use the skorpion to make a kill or something. I found that the the riot shield is good for when you're not camping and when you're in mid range to long range enemy encounters. So, are there any tips on how I can improve this class? What's the fastest and easiest ways to make kills with a single skorpion? I want to get the skorpion to lvl 5 so that I can unlock akimbo for it, and thnx!

Someone threatening to ban me after kicking them out of the clan

After I kicked someone and four of his friends from my clan for using 20th prestige hack and constantly joining XP lobbies, they are now threatening to get me banned when I haven't even done anything. Just because my name has the word hack in it doesn't mean I hack. In fact I'm against hacking completely on games consoles and I used the name to scare people off. Now can these imatture little people I kicked from clan actaully get me banned with a cause like hack me, or get someone who works at Activision to ban me, cause I swear to god if they touch my account I will take them down to the police station and take them to court

I can't edit my custom classes with elite.

I am Premium BTW.

I changed my custom classes (on Elite via PC) while I was in MW3 Multiplayer.. I've already tried to go back to main menu and whatever.. turnd off console etc. but it still says PENDING CHANGES...

If I go to custom classes in MW3 no message etc. comes up.

Please fix this so I can edit my custom classes through elite again...

CoD Elite Question

Ok so i recently decided to make a youtube account and upload Call of Duty gameplay. I downloaded CoD Elite and started to play kill confirmed on my xbox 360. Then i went to my vault and recorded part of my game. i proceeded to make a youtube account and tried to link it to my CoD Elite profile. that took me to a confirmation page on and i agreed to let Elite manage my youtube account. then it directed me back to call of duty elite, and said i hadn't linked a youtube account yet, so i tried linking it again. i did this several times and the account still hasn't linked. i'm incredibly frustrated, bcuz all i wanna do is upload videos and i can't even do that. anyway i decided to just upload videos to elite, and THEN upload them to youtube. but when i checked my vault from ELITE, the video i had just made was MISSING. so then i checkedmy vault form the console and it was there, then i re-checked ELITE, and it was still MISSING. i don't what the issue is, but it needs FIXED. becuase this is a HUGE INCONVINIENCE for people that paid $50 extra to go premium. If you know anything about this issue, or have similar problems, please contribute to this thread. all information is appreiciated. Thanks in advanced, Call of Duty community!

Cannot link youtube account to elite

Title says it all, i hit the link button, hit on google where it says "allow access" or something like that, then sends me to the account management, and the url link says at the end "Unknown Error" I dont know why i cant link the accounts, also, ive tried this in IE and Chrome.

Is the call of duty elite site down?

I was on the call of duty elite site last week.This week,everytime i go to the site now it says either internal server error or site down temporarily.If i refresh the page it goes to the login page.When i log in though it just logs me in and stays on that page. Cant do anything from there except go to profile.

Is everyone else having the same problem or just me?

The last 4 MW3 Clan Ops have not worked properly

Our clan has not received any credit for ops and challenges for at least the last two weeks.

Game hangs in game menus far too quickly.

Hello all,

I have a problem and I'm hoping to get some help on the forum.

The problem is that game hangs / freezes while I'm still in the game's menus. The sound continues playing but the screen has frozen. My only resort is to use the task manager to kill Modern Warfare 3.

Once I am actually in a game there are no further problems, but in the menu's it tends to hang after about 6-8 seconds, so it's very rare that I'm actually able to join a game in that time frame.

In fact today I've been trying for two hours non-stop to start the game, this is really a bad experience when all I want to do is relax with a game.

I have tried various steps to resolve this issue, updating direct X, uninstalling virusscanners, disabled user account control, tried all the launch options I could find.

Whatever I do I can't seem to get rid of this issue. It's quite a shame and makes the game unplayable.

I would very much appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Let us know if you have any questions or feedback.
