Hackers everywhere! Treyarch do something.

Hi,

Sorry for my direct and maybe a little bit harsh style, but I am mad right now. And the main reason for my madness is the money rolling machine guys at Treyarch studios! So called "community oriented game developer studio!" and it's support team. Come on, wake up.

I don't know about you guys, but I love this game. It is my favorite COD game of all time. Unfortunately recently this game is impossible to play on PS3 (I am sure it is the same case with XBOX) because of hackers. Whatever game type you play, whenever you login there is one guy (sometimes more) just ruins everything. I would like to ask Treyarch community.

Is this the way that you treat your community?

Is this the real passion and interest that you show your past games?

Is it only earning money and making profit, whocares about the rest?

Shame on you every minute that you just look and do nothing about this mess. There are a lot of people trying to raise their voice to you guys and all we get back is a DLC pack for BO2 right, and some fancy advertisement for it.

Shame on you.

Ok so like many of you I love WAW and just as I suspected, i knew i wasn't going to be the only one complaining about the hacking.......

In fact I only signed up to try and find a resolve. Basically we need to come together and force Activision or Treyarch or which ever conglomerate that can patch this game to get serious and fix this issue. Policy for these matters should be strictly enforced all across the board for all active COD games from the very first to the most current.

It is unfair that anyone who has or is paying their hard earned money to play these video games has to be subjected to player abuse and developer neglect and have their gaming experience ruined by TROLLS.

I say, if the game has an active server and a cult following where it's still being played it deserves to be fully moderated and acknowledged by the people who enable it.....

How then can we make sure that our voice is heard? Who can we bombard daily with a default email on the matter or a petition so that we can have our FAIR gaming experience back?

Does anyone have any ideas? I don't mind being that voice i just need some direction..... If there is a will there is a way..... Hell they should be taking action in the name of economic hardship.... Employ a sector of technicians who moderator games from MW1 to whatever is current..... SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.....

Does anyone have any ideas or emails of people in the right places whom can be reached about this?

Hello everyone, my names MadMcardle, but please call me Mad

I am putting together a new Call of Duty community / clan and would like some information from likeminded PlayStation 3 gamers.

I am not looking for members at this time as I am currently working on the website.

Things I am considering and would like some feedback –

As this is a Call of Duty clan, I would like to have teams covering previous titles, but how far back should it go? Black Ops 2 and MW3, what about Black Ops, Modern Warfare 2, World at War and Modern Warfare, should I include them? Do many people still play these titles?
Requirements to join, what should they be? I definitely want a minimum age requirement, but what would be best? I was thinking maybe 14, 16 or 18?
What about a positive K/D? Not asking for something huge, just 1.00 or over.
Monthly competitions with real prizes, I’m not please saying you’d win a new car, but some kind of Call of Duty merchandise?
Military Ranking – I like the idea of using a military rank system with Chain of Command etc, would this appeal to you?

I will update this post as time goes on with any new questions or information. Any other feedback, questions or ideas for the clan are welcome, but please keep your comments positive!

i i am very entteuscht of you, I was with friends I play CoD World at me and wanted to get the map packs strore from the PS3 and there I could not find it, please make it again is purely very dear to me and not only me, or are the new games more important for you, I was always peace else with your stuff so do what you please, the back can also play fernüpftig.

Why are my multi-player advances not being saved.

Sorry if this question has been asked before. Whenever I start playing multiplayer, I always start at level 1. I will continue to advance up to level 5, but whenever I start again I'm back at level 1. Is there something I'm not doing right?

Everyone since Sandy had issues leveling up on Call of Duty: World at War, as the server central (or however it is called) got hit pretty bad. No progress would be saved after leaving the multiplayer part of the game, being stuck at the same stats all the time. For people who were searching for a solution, I am happy to announce that servers are fully functional now.

Ok, before you continue reading - this isn't a troll thread. This is not related to Black Ops/Modern Warfare 2

If you have clicked on this thread, then you probably already know CoD: World at War is ruined.

If you are lucky - You will get into a normal lobby with no modding.

Due to its lack of players, more then likely there is only 1 - 3 open lobbies for the popular categories like S&D or Ground War.

I was playing today (7/9/11) and noticed the following:

1) Joining friends is even more difficult then it used to be; sometimes it will not let me join friends via invite.
2) All the players are more then likely level 65-10th Prestige by hacking.
Sometimes, there are people with no emblem and this is referred to 11th Prestige.
and much more..

Before Black Ops came out, this was the only game I had. I never played Modern Warfare 2, which I heard was hacked pretty bad - But Infinity Ward FIXED IT.

Since Treyarch currently only had World at War to monitor, it usually was fine.

It seems to me they have redirected their attention to Black Ops.

You might say this, "They are busy with Black Ops!"
Treyarch made how much from Black Ops?

Hire some new workers and get them to fix World at War.

In all honesty, this is basically the first thread I have ever posted. I'm angry at the fact this game is ruined.
I paid money for this game, I expect to play the game correctly.

Its retail value is dropping due to people taking it back to stores, example: GameStop
I paid $40 for this game, yes - I never paid full retail when it came out. I got it new at GameStop for $40

Well, as of today (7/9/11)
I was hacked to 10th prestige by a modder.

Treyarch, fix your dang products. It's ticking me off. This is very unprofessional.

My stats are messed up, and so are the leader boards.

The leader boards have been hacked so much, it wont even show them to me. It just keeps downloading endlessly.

Developers ruthlessly ban cheaters,they prevent us from living.

To all PS3 users who have been having account linking issues:
A fix has been implemented and all of you who have had an issue linking your account. Your data should be in our system within 1 hour after the next time you play. 1 hour after playing your next match, please try to link your account again. Also, please keep in mind the general issues when linking your account including entering your gamertag / username correctly and double / triple checking your VIP code for the following characters to make sure they are being inputted correctly.

0, O - zero, capital o
1, l - one, lowercase l
5, S - five, capital s

Hey guys, just got COD:WAW 2 days ago. The first day it worked ( Online) but now, whenever i try to play multiplayer it stays at downloading game settings for about 6 seconds then it displays matchmaking ERROR 33..

What I need to do?
